Property Description for 1115 Prospect Ave, 104

New to Market! Enjoy this bright and airy first floor one-bedroom, one-bathroom corner unit in Windsor Terrace, one of Brooklyn's most sought-after neighborhoods. This open kitchen-living room concept with a massive bedroom offers comfortable and inviting living, including bright, sunny views and a private entrance to the beautifully landscaped common outdoor space-practically private, though not officially.
Just two blocks from Prospect Park, this home seamlessly blends modern convenience with charming design. This well-maintained building enhances everyday living with amenities such as on-site laundry (1 of multiple laundry rooms are just a few feet from the first floor unit), a video intercom system, and access to a rooftop area (located in the neighboring building (with elevator), which is also part of the Mews Condominium), where you can relax and take in views of Prospect Park and the surrounding neighborhood.
Conveniently located around the corner from Windsor Farms Market, Walgreens, local shops, and a variety of neighborhood favorites. Dine at beloved spots like Della, Le Paddock, and Cena, or grab a coffee from Poetica. Prospect Park West offers even more, with Krupa, Double Windsor, Hilltop, and Windsor Wines waiting to be explored. For entertainment, visit Nitehawk Theater, enjoy the weekly Farmers Market, or recharge with a smoothie at Bartel Pritchard Square.
Commuting is a breeze with easy access to the F/G subway lines and local bus routes (B61, B67, B68, and B69), connecting you effortlessly to Brooklyn and beyond.

Hot water is included, AC / heat is run on PTAC unit. Electric is separate.

Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
