Property Description for 732 West End Ave, 6

You'll love being home at 732 West End Avenue #6. As if designed for work-from-home, this condominium's nearly 1800 square foot layout gives you so many options. With three sizable bedrooms, three full bathrooms, a chef's kitchen, a living room with fireplace and sunset views, a terrace, a washer dryer, plenty of closet space and a huge storage locker -- all in a boutique, part-time doorman condo -- your search ends here!

You'll love the privacy of being the only home on the floor. Enter from the key-locked elevator directly into your classic foyer, with a barrel-vaulted ceiling and inlayed wood floors. Just beyond the foyer is the king-sized gourmet kitchen. With a huge pass-through and a grand breakfast bar, the kitchen is a cook's dream. Custom wood cabinetry abounds on all four sides with pantries and pull-out shelving. The appliance package includes a Bertazzoni gas range, Liebherr refrigerator, Marvel under-counter wine refrigerator and Blomberg dishwasher in stainless steel. There's even your own, integrated garbage and recycling chute in the kitchen.

The sun-soaked and spacious living area offers sunset views, 5" thick oak floors, detailed cove molding, and a glass-front, ventless fireplace with surrounding built-in cabinetry.

The sizable front bedroom accessed either by French pocket doors or a separate door from the back hallway has multiple uses either as a dedicated bedroom, a guest room, a roomy home office with lovely views and a unique full bath with standing shower or opened completely to expand your living room.

Tucked away in the east end of the home is the generous primary bedroom suite with east-facing terrace. The fabulous en-suite primary bath features marble and basalt finishes, a zero threshold European shower with infinity drain, a custom double vanity, and Hansgrohe fixtures.

The second bedroom, also with an en-suite bath, easily fits a king bed, has an enormous closet, and faces east as well.

A full-sized, stackable washer-dryer occupies its own utility closet, the 4 zone central air is controlled by thermostats, and the home is wired for FIOS and electric shades.

732 West End Avenue is a unique, contemporary building nestled among and designed with a nod to its prewar neighbors. The new building packs a lot into a little, with a part-time attended lobby, a full-time super, and a pleasant fitness area with atrium and restroom. The location is top notch, a block from the express subway and Riverside Park and in close proximity to all the shopping, dining and entertainment of the Upper West Side. Sorry, no cats or smoking.

Upper West Side | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Bracketed on its east and west borders by massive city parks, the Upper West Side (UWS) is known for its greenery, stately and elegant townhomes, safe streets and great schools, all of which make it a very desirable neighborhood for families. The UWS has maintained its community feeling, making it attractive to young professionals and retirees, both of whom want a sense of belonging in the place they call home.

Here you’ll find many apartment buildings, especially those along Central Park West. Historic architecture abounds, anchored by four luxury co-ops - the San Remo, Majestic, Century and Eldorado apartments - all of which have two towers on their interiors. They were built in the 1930s and their design was predicated on a 1929 building code that imposed a height limit on residences facing the street. There are also impressive row houses near Riverside Drive throughout the W 70 and 80 Streets. Above the 90s, you will find smaller buildings where walk-ups are very reasonably priced.

There are several world-class museums and venues dedicated to the performing arts. Plentiful dining can be found in the UWS. You will find everything from quaint Jewish delis serving up bagels and a schmear to sophisticated fine dining that has earned multiple Michelin stars, and everything you could possibly want in between. There is also abundant shopping and a vibrant nightlife.
