Property Description for 297 Church Street, 2

As seen in Netflix's hit Ryan Murphy series The Watcher, Apartment 2 at 297 Church Street isn't just a home-it's a cinematic showpiece. This full-floor Tribeca loft combines grand proportions, historic bones, and sleek modern updates, just one easy flight up in a boutique pre-war walk-up.

Step inside to discover a dramatic living space with soaring 12-foot ceilings and west-facing oversized windows that flood the home with golden afternoon light. The expansive living and dining area is finished with track LED lighting, clean lines, and an open flow that feels both refined and relaxed.

The streamlined kitchen is equipped with a full suite of LG stainless steel appliances, including a gas range, microwave, dishwasher, and a rare side-by-side LG washer and dryer-a true luxury in a classic loft setting. Quartz countertops, white cabinetry, and a dining peninsula complete the look.

Above the kitchen, a lofted sleeping space serves as a private retreat while maintaining the openness and scale of the main living area. A windowed bathroom with black-and-white tile and a walk-in shower adds a touch of vintage edge to this modernized home.
Utilities are obtained directly by the resident, allowing you to tailor your usage to suit your personal lifestyle. Pets are allowed.

Built in 1870 by architect William T. Bure, 297 Church is an architectural standout-an example of French Second Empire style with a marble fa ade, intricately carved Doric pilasters, a cast-iron storefront, and an arched cornice. Once home to textile merchants and gourmet retailers, it now houses a curated collection of boutique loft residences.

Located at Church and Walker Streets, this address places you in the heart of Tribeca, surrounded by world-class dining, independent galleries, and luxury retail. Transportation is seamless with access to the A, C, E, N, Q, R, W, 6, J, and Z subway lines just minutes away.

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
