This gut-renovated triplex is a picture of perfection, blending timeless architecture with every modern convenience. Spanning 2,376 interior square feet, this three-bedroom (convertible four-bedroom), three-bath residence offers expansive room sizes, high ceilings, premium finishes and fixtures, and exceptional private outdoor spaces, including a setback terrace on the home's 4th floor and an upper roof deck.

Upon entering this 25-foot-wide townhouse created by the renowned architect Steven Marchetti, you are greeted by a thoughtful and functional layout designed to maximize comfort, flow and privacy. The living spaces are expansive, easily accommodating large-scale furniture while maintaining a sense of openness.

A custom black iron staircase makes a bold architectural statement, while double-hung Andersen windows on each of the home's four facades flood your home with natural light. A custom mahogany entry door at the top of the grand stoop entry opens to the vestibule that is filled with sunlight through the transom window.

At the heart of the home is a chef's kitchen anchored by an impressive 8-by-4-foot-center quartz island. The stunning kitchen is outfitted with top-of-the-line, Thermador appliances including a six-burner gas range with a fully vented hood, a panelized 36-inch refrigerator with an interior ice maker and a panelized dishwasher. A sharp microwave drawer, with concealed controls, is seamlessly integrated under the counter. The cabinetry is designed by the award-winning German Kitchen Center featuring warm wood uppers and matte black lowers. The full-height backsplash subway tile and under-cabinet lighting add a touch of sophistication, while recessed lighting throughout the home ensures a warm, ambient glow.

The spa-style windowed primary bathroom features a glass barn-style shower enclosure with a built-in bench. The beautiful fixtures include a rain shower and handheld system by Duravit, along with premium chrome accents. A double sink vanity provides ample storage, and finishes include porcelain tiles from TileBar, recessed lighting, a tri-view mirrored medicine cabinet, and a sleek Toto toilet.

The home includes a spacious laundry room equipped with an LG washer and a vented dryer and two additional well-appointed bathrooms that echo the primary suite's luxurious attention to detail. The upper level of the duplex features sliding glass doors that open onto a private terrace overlooking the serene, tree-lined street. Interior climate is maintained by Nest thermostats, providing year-round comfort, and solar shades are installed throughout the home for light control and privacy. There are ample closets and storage space. The home is finished with premium wood plank flooring by Madera Company, known for its durability, and refined craftsmanship.

Whether it's a 10-minute commute to Grand Central on the 7 train or a scenic ride on the NYC Ferry, this location offers unbeatable city access. Steps away are local cafes, Michelin-starred dining, supermarkets, and everyday essentials. Long Island City | Queens

Quick Profile

Long Island City, the name does sound a little far away, like it requires a lengthy drive to get to. Think, again. Long Island City, also known as LIC, is nestled in the western corner of Queens along the East River. Midtown Manhattan is closer to Long Island City than it is to downtown Manhattan.

LIC is bordered by Sunnyside to the east, the East River to the west, Astoria to the north, and Newton Creek which separates Queens from Greenpoint Brooklyn to the south.

A once-shabby manufacturing epicenter, the neighborhood is a mix of industrial, commercial and residential. In recent years it’s seen a rise in some seriously cool factors. Populated by young professionals, multi-ethnic immigrants, and hipsters, LIC has a happening nightlife scene, fantastic restaurants (some of them Michelin starred), art museums and galleries. Much of the waterfront access has been redeveloped into sustainable public green spaces with modern design.

Although much of the industrial / manufacturing companies have since left LIC, many still reside there. They tend to co-exist with new residential building development the same way they do in other neighborhoods like Williamsburg and Greenpoint.

Office building developers and business tenants play a vital role in LIC too. It’s considered New York City’s fourth central business district next to Midtown, downtown Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn.

As you traverse the streets of LIC, you’ll notice the change from block to block. Industrial warehouses on one block, a bustling Main Street, followed by a park block with sleek luxury high-rise buildings. It’s all part of the LIC vibe.

For a small neighborhood, the transportation links are excellent. For starters, you just can’t beat living one subway stop from Manhattan (7 train). Other train lines include E, M, R, N, Q, and the G lines. There are also less conventional methods of transportation like the NYC Ferry, which offers three ferry landings. There is no shortage of CitiBike’s in LIC either. Many folks commute to work by way of cycling over the Queensboro Bridge.
