Property Description for 11 Fifth Ave, 3-T

Welcome to Residence 3T at 11 Fifth Avenue — a spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom home in one of Greenwich Village’s most sought-after full-service co-ops, perfectly located along Lower Fifth Avenue’s iconic Gold Coast. Situated on the third floor, this bright and airy home offers classic Greenwich Village views overlooking the peaceful, tree-lined townhouses of 9th Street. A proper entry foyer leads into an expansive living room and a separate dining alcove, ideal for both everyday living and entertaining. The kitchen presents the opportunity to be opened up to create a breakfast bar, with the option to add a washer/dryer for additional convenience. Each room is thoughtfully proportioned, allowing for flexible layouts to suit a variety of needs. The king-sized primary bedroom is a private retreat, complete with two large closets — including a walk-in — and a windowed en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is equally spacious, featuring two oversized closets, and corner windows that offer the flexibility to divide the space and create a third bedroom — each with its own closet (see alternative floor plan for reference). A second windowed bathroom serves guests and the second bedroom. Additional highlights of this pin-drop quiet home include abundant closet and storage space, and hardwood floors throughout. Move right in and enjoy this well-maintained home, or bring your vision to life and create your dream Greenwich Village residence. The Brevoort is a premier full-service co-op located on lower Fifth Avenue between Washington Square Park and Union Square. Residents enjoy a wealth of amenities, including a 24-hour doorman service, a live-in resident manager, fitness center, laundry room, bike storage, and on-site parking (waitlist). Located between Washington Square Park and Union Square, The Brevoort is steps away from some of the city’s best restaurants, shopping, and cultural attractions. Public transportation is easily accessible, with nearby access to multiple subway lines (A/C/E, B/D/F/M, 4/5/6, N/Q/R, 1, and L). Pieds-à-terre, washers/dryers, and parents purchasing for adult children are allowed with board approval, and owners may have one dog or two cats. This makes The Brevoort one of downtown Manhattan's most sought-after addresses.

Greenwich Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Birthplace of beatniks, Greenwich Village has always been a neighborhood bursting with creativity, home to artists, poets, musicians and writers. There is a lot of foot traffic in the neighborhood, as it gives convenient access to many other neighborhoods. There are a lot of popular eateries on MacDougal Street and bars on Bleecker Street. The neighborhood has a bit of a college-town feel, due to the presence of NYU. There aren’t large chain stores here, so it isn’t really a mecca for shopaholics, but you can find interesting vintage stores and specialty boutiques.

Available housing is centered on pre-war walk-ups. You can find good deals on the quieter, tree-lined side streets, as opposed to the bustling avenues. There are pockets of brownstones and townhouses, some dating back to the early 19th century, throughout the neighborhood, as well. You will find more luxurious housing in the newer high-rise buildings on Park and Fifth Avenues.

Washington Square Park is the heart of the neighborhood. If you sit near the Arch and close your eyes, you might catch an echo of the music and social history of the Park, floating through the air. Greats like Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon started their storied careers right here in Greenwich Village. Today, the Village is a celebration of diversity, where everyone is welcome.
