Property Description for 88 Wyckoff Street, 1-M

The heart of this 3 bed/3 bath home is aptly described as a “great room.” At 28 x 28, the great room can accommodate a large dining table and a proper living room with room to spare. With 12’ ceilings, oversized windows and room for lots of art, this space is for gathering and spending time together, whether formal or informal. The u-shaped kitchen with breakfast bar is a chef’s delight with a full suite of Dacor appliances, Fisher & Paykel dishwasher drawers, Quartz countertops and backsplash, open shelving and plenty of storage. Outside and a few steps down, discover the perfect backyard patio complete with grill, tables, and seating. This outdoor space is shared with only one other apartment. A wide hallway off the kitchen leads to the bedroom wing with custom closet/dressing area, two bedrooms, and a full bath. Another bath with a walk-in shower is just down the hall. Last but not least, head down the library-themed staircase to the 900 SF pristine primary suite. For privacy, sliding glass doors separate the king-sized sleeping area. The classic dressing area is lined with custom built-in closets and opens to a private den, the bath, and the laundry room. The spa bath features a walk-in shower with Hansgrohe trims, Toto toilet, Ann Sacks tile, and a double sink vanity lit by a Duravit L-Cube mirror. Outside is a magical private outdoor space. 88 Wyckoff Street is a well-established condo located just off Smith Street. Building amenities include an elevator, a full-time super, video security, a common roof deck with views from lower Manhattan to the Verrazano including Lady Liberty, and a fitness room with Peloton bike, sauna and shower. With Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, and Carroll Gardens at your fingertips, you’ll never want (or need) to leave the neighborhood. Right outside your front door, there are endless options for boutique shopping, fine dining, local pubs, bakeries, butchers, green markets and coffee shops. The F/G trains are one block away at Bergen Street. Sorry, dogs are not allowed for tenants.

Boerum Hill | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Boerum Hill is a tiny, quiet, primarily residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. There are broad tree-lined streets that are filled with elegant three and four-story brownstones and townhouses, mostly built between 1840 and 1870. There is a definite family vibe to the neighborhood, but young professionals are moving in, and with them are coming trendy bars to cater to their desire for some measure of nightlife, without having to linger in Manhattan. These new bars and restaurants are being sandwiched in amongst existing shops on both Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street, which are the main commercial areas in Boerum Hill.

Boerum Hill offers a convenient location that is still able to maintain its small-neighborhood feel. Shopkeepers value their customers and remember their regulars. It continues to do what it was designed to do, namely provide small-town living in the very shadow of the big city. Boerum Hill is an easy commute to other parts of the city, making it easy to come home every day to the peace and tranquility of Boerum Hill while commuting to a job anywhere in the city.

The neighborhood is quite walkable and you can take the time to catch up with your neighbors while visiting on their stoops. Shopping on Atlantic Avenue is stress-free with no high pressure. You can meet with friends at any of the many coffee shops and while away pleasant hours in conversation. The dining scene on Smith Street is similarly laid-back. Don’t expect that there will be quite as much to see or do as there is in Manhattan, but there are a decent number of interesting bars and restaurants providing a measure of nightlife. The trade-off is worth it, as Boerum Hill provides a quiet, peaceful place to live and raise a family.
