Property Description for 860 United Nations Plaza, 10-F

A Rare Offering at the Iconic 860 United Nations Plaza - Panoramic Views, Endless Potential

Welcome to the highly coveted "F" line at 860 United Nations Plaza, a striking 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom residence boasting approximately 2,100 square feet of grand interior space and mesmerizing views of the Manhattan skyline, East River, and the architecturally significant United Nations complex.

Perched high above the city in one of Manhattan's most prestigious cooperatives, this sun-flooded corner home offers a commanding vantage point through oversized windows with sweeping Southern and Eastern exposures. The graciously scaled layout opens with a dramatic foyer that flows into an expansive living room - an entertainer's dream - where sky, city, and water merge into an unforgettable backdrop.

While the kitchen awaits your personal touch and design vision, the apartment's strong structural integrity, abundant closet space, and well-proportioned rooms offer an excellent canvas for customization. The third bedroom easily transforms into a home office, library, or guest suite. Two of the bedrooms enjoy ensuite baths, and a third full bathroom enhances overall convenience.

Designed by legendary architects Wallace Harrison and Max Abramovitz - the visionaries behind the UN Headquarters and Lincoln Center's master plan - 860 UN Plaza is a modernist landmark known for its expansive layouts, soaring ceilings, and white-glove service. Beekman Place | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Beekman Place is less of a neighborhood than it is a quiet two-block enclave just north of the United Nations on the far eastern edge of Turtle Bay. There is only one street that runs through the neighborhood, also called Beekman Place, that wraps itself around 49th Street and 51st Street.

This bucolic little stretch of the east side has always been a cherished spot for those fortunate enough to have found refuge here. The noise and the street traffic from the city surrounds is virtually non-existent as there are no through streets in this neighborhood.

The neighborhood composition largely consists of a few clusters of townhouses and prewar co-ops. The exception to the rule is the charming art-deco-styled Beekman Place Hotel at the corner of First Avenue and 49th Street and the two post-war towers, 860 and 870 UN Plaza that front the grounds of the United Nations.
