Distinguished by wide-plank oak floors, 11" ceilings, an oversized chef's kitchen with a huge island, multi-zone heating and cooling, and a fully-vented gas washer and dryer, and a fully vented gas stove! This like-new 2018 building is one of the few Boerum Hill buildings that offers a 24-hr. doorman, full-time super, gym, 2 elevators, landscaped rooftop, children's playroom, lounge, and is only one block to the 2/3/4/5/N/R/Q subways at Atlantic Center. Come home to an incredibly high-quality 37-unit building with oversized soundproof windows, a stunning Pedersen brick fa ade, an A rating for energy efficiency, and a Mid-Century modern design that offers a timeless backdrop for whatever your style. Step outside and be surrounded by the absolute best walkable amenities in the borough including BAM, Barclay's Center, award-winning restaurants, public and private schools, Fort Greene Park, Prospect Park, supermarkets, and Manhattan just a train stop away.

Enter into a generous foyer with an oversized closet that doubles as a mud room, a rare amenity for any apartment these days! A sizable living room easily accommodates a formal dining table and a living room adjacent to a large chef's kitchen. Sunlight streams in all day through massive windows with skyline exposures, guaranteeing light from the minute you awake in the morning until sundown. Four floors up in a building with over 10" ceilings and a lobby with epic double height ceilings ensures that every window in this home has lush treetop views for added charm. And don't miss the stylish custom millwork that the current owner added, including a bar with a 48 bottle wine cooler, and a large pantry that includes spice pullouts, deep food storage space, and a built-in microwave. These custom touches elevate the space even further, and also provide practical daily storage solutions. An unexpected home office resides on the other side of the pantry, making it the perfect space for working from home, OR if you prefer to entertain in a grander manner, it also makes a great formal dining room.

A magnificent kitchen sits at the center of this spacious and sunny home, inviting you to entertain, or simply enjoy a home-cooked meal any day of the week. Features include custom walnut cabinetry and wood pulls; paneled French-door Miele fridge with an ice-maker; Miele 5-burner cooktop and separate oven; and a substantial island perfectly placed for prep space but also works as a fantastic space for everyday dining for four people. Sumptuous Carrara marble countertops and backsplash add beauty and loads of work space.

The bedroom layout is ideal for privacy and quiet, offering a lavish primary suite and a secondary bedroom separate from the main living spaces. The secondary bath resides at the entrance to the bedroom area, making it perfect for guests and family alike. BOTH bedrooms have large closets that have been customized with hanging areas, drawers and shelving for your added ease. The primary bathroom enjoys an indulgent glass-enclosed walk-in shower, double sinks, and oversized brass-framed custom mirrors and lighting. Calacatta Gold marble floors and walls offer a lush spa-like environment, in addition to the oversized Grohe showerhead, cross handle fixtures, and built-in shower storage niche. The secondary bath offers timeless Carrara hex tiles and a generous tub/shower combo. All bathrooms feature custom walnut vanities with brass accents and great storage.

Whether you like to entertain, or just live large, then look no further. Come home to THE most convenient location in all of the borough, at the nexus of every great brownstone neighborhood in Brooklyn including Boerum Hill, Fort Greene, Cobble Hill, and Park Slope. Pet friendly too.

Boerum Hill | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Boerum Hill is a tiny, quiet, primarily residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. There are broad tree-lined streets that are filled with elegant three and four-story brownstones and townhouses, mostly built between 1840 and 1870. There is a definite family vibe to the neighborhood, but young professionals are moving in, and with them are coming trendy bars to cater to their desire for some measure of nightlife, without having to linger in Manhattan. These new bars and restaurants are being sandwiched in amongst existing shops on both Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street, which are the main commercial areas in Boerum Hill.

Boerum Hill offers a convenient location that is still able to maintain its small-neighborhood feel. Shopkeepers value their customers and remember their regulars. It continues to do what it was designed to do, namely provide small-town living in the very shadow of the big city. Boerum Hill is an easy commute to other parts of the city, making it easy to come home every day to the peace and tranquility of Boerum Hill while commuting to a job anywhere in the city.

The neighborhood is quite walkable and you can take the time to catch up with your neighbors while visiting on their stoops. Shopping on Atlantic Avenue is stress-free with no high pressure. You can meet with friends at any of the many coffee shops and while away pleasant hours in conversation. The dining scene on Smith Street is similarly laid-back. Don’t expect that there will be quite as much to see or do as there is in Manhattan, but there are a decent number of interesting bars and restaurants providing a measure of nightlife. The trade-off is worth it, as Boerum Hill provides a quiet, peaceful place to live and raise a family.
