Property Description for 202 Seeley Street, 3-A

Steps from bucolic Prospect Park, this sprawling 2BR is nestled in a well-maintained elevator building on coveted Seeley Street.

Well-proportioned and inviting, this airy oasis is bathed in natural sunlight, blending timeless appeal with thoughtful updates. Newly refinished parquet floors enhance the considered layout, which offers a comfortable flow. Enter through a spacious foyer that opens to a generous sitting area, large living room, and dining space adjacent to the windowed galley kitchen. The kitchen features wooden cabinetry, stone countertops, stainless steel appliances—including a brand-new dishwasher—and a built-in microwave.

The primary bedroom easily accommodates a king-size bed and ample furniture, while the second bedroom is equally bright and spacious. The crisp, white windowed bathroom is fresh and clean. Closet space is plentiful throughout.

This cat-friendly building offers a professionally landscaped front yard, a renovated and well-maintained laundry room with stainless steel machines on a card system, a waitlisted parking garage, waitlisted secure storage, and basement bicycle storage. An onsite superintendent and porters maintain the building, with oversight from a management company. Recent upgrades include a ButterflyMX video intercom system that connects to a smartphone app, refreshed common areas, and buffed terrazzo lobby floors.

Just steps from Prospect Park—near the lake, Duck Island, and Vanderbilt Playground—this prime location is a 2-minute walk to the B68 bus and a 6-minute walk to the F/G trains. Enjoy the best of Windsor Terrace and Park Slope, with top restaurants, boutiques, and services nearby, including Le Paddock, Krupa Grocery, Double Windsor, Poetica Café, Windsor Farms, the Bartel-Pritchard Square Greenmarket, Nitehawk Cinema, and more.

Your stunning park-side oasis awaits!

Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
