Do you have too many clothes, not enough furniture, and a Gennie? Look like all that rubbing paid off!
This home stands out for its meticulous attention to lighting throughout the space. Upon entering, you are greeted by a dimmable hall light that allows you to set the mood to your preference. The kitchen continues this theme with an impressive selection of lighting options, including an undercabinet work light for focused tasks and a ceiling fixture that offers both cool and warm light settings, as well as an integrated fan. The main walk-in closet is illuminated by track lights and a motion-sensitive ceiling light, making it easy to locate your belongings. Even the traditional pre-war bathroom is equipped with multiple adjustable lighting sources to ensure optimal visibility and comfort.
The kitchen features a suite of brand-new appliances, including a 4-burner, 30-inch gas stove, a multifunction microwave, a dishwasher drawer, and a spacious 6-foot refrigerator complete with an icemaker. The elegant marble tiles and recessed black sink are complemented by a soapstone countertop, creating a stylish and functional workspace. Additionally, the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and silverware, ensuring you are ready for immediate use.
Storage is plentiful in the main walk-in closet, which boasts a generous system with three large hanging sections, four deep drawers, and multiple shelves. The closet is thoughtfully illuminated with track lights and a motion-sensitive ceiling light, so you will never have trouble finding your socks or the black, not the blue, trousers. Moving through the hallway, you encounter a second walk-in closet, ideally suited for storing household essentials and guest coats. The owner has thoughtfully provided useful items such as a tall step ladder and a brand-new vacuum cleaner to meet everyday needs.
.You'll love having an Innocn computer screen, whether you're working remotely or watching TV. It sits on a 6'7"table, offering you space to dine as well. But if you're like most of us, your takeout can be consumed from the coffee table.
Your queen-size bed is flanked by two nightstands with storage, so as you'll see, your every comfort has been considered.
The windows face south into the Gardens and have amazing light filtering in. And do you know how special living in London Terrace can be?
Living at London Terrace is truly special, offering a well-considered home environment with every detail designed for comfort and convenience as well as architectural touches like the Chimera-commonly referred to as Gargoyles-which add a unique architectural charm and historic character to the residence. These distinctive sculptures have become a well-known hallmark of London Terrace, further enriching the living experience for all who call it home.
The historic half Olympic size pool, which served as the home for swimming competitions as well as entertaining the original Tarzan offers 5 wide lanes, with a variety of fitness and aquatic equipment. Flanking the pool you'll find separate men's and women's changing rooms and lockers, each with a steam room, sauna, and showers. Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
