Property Description for 105 West 13th Street, 15-B

Greenwich Village, NYC. Hasn't this always been your dream destination? Might this perfect, sunny studio be your landing place? Roomy enough for any size bed you enjoy, along with additional ample space to lounge, gather, study or enjoy a delicious repast. An open kitchen beckons, with marble countertops and brand new appliances, including a Bertazzoni range, built-in GE microwave and dishwasher, a Brama retro-styled refrigerator and Waterdrop under-counter water filter. There are four separate closets for all of your treasures. This home is light and bright, and high enough to see both the Empire State Building and the Freedom Tower (if you lean just right). Temperature is regulated by radiator heat and a through-the-wall air conditioner. The building is wired for Spectrum and Verizon Fios.

And you will be so well taken care of here! A full, friendly staff tends to your needs, including a full-time doorman, porters and a live-in Resident Manager. An immaculate, modern laundry room is downstairs, and room to store your bike. And upstairs is a gorgeous roof-top terrace, with panoramic, 360-degree views of the city (which require no leaning to enjoy), and a gas grill, for when you are in the mood to dine al fresco.

And when you prefer to venture forth, you're here, in the middle of Greenwich Village. Park your car in the garage next door, and start your evening at iconic Cecchi's, downstairs, perhaps. The world is your oyster. World renowned restaurants and night spots, too numerous to mention, and all manner of conveniences, are within a very small radius. A brand new supermarket is right across the street. 1, 2,3,F, L, M subway lines and the PATH train are a block from home. Life is easy and fun here. Come see for yourself!

This coop permits up to 75% financing. Pieds-a-terre, co-purchasing and parents buying for children are permitted on a case by case basis; residing shareholder must be able to afford carrying costs of apartment. Sublets are permitted, with board approval, after 2 years of ownership. Pets are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you.

Greenwich Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Birthplace of beatniks, Greenwich Village has always been a neighborhood bursting with creativity, home to artists, poets, musicians and writers. There is a lot of foot traffic in the neighborhood, as it gives convenient access to many other neighborhoods. There are a lot of popular eateries on MacDougal Street and bars on Bleecker Street. The neighborhood has a bit of a college-town feel, due to the presence of NYU. There aren’t large chain stores here, so it isn’t really a mecca for shopaholics, but you can find interesting vintage stores and specialty boutiques.

Available housing is centered on pre-war walk-ups. You can find good deals on the quieter, tree-lined side streets, as opposed to the bustling avenues. There are pockets of brownstones and townhouses, some dating back to the early 19th century, throughout the neighborhood, as well. You will find more luxurious housing in the newer high-rise buildings on Park and Fifth Avenues.

Washington Square Park is the heart of the neighborhood. If you sit near the Arch and close your eyes, you might catch an echo of the music and social history of the Park, floating through the air. Greats like Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon started their storied careers right here in Greenwich Village. Today, the Village is a celebration of diversity, where everyone is welcome.
