Property Description for 39 East 29th Street, 30-BD

OPEN HOUSES BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. A rare opportunity awaits at Twenty9th Park Madison with TWO one-bedroom apartments directly across the hall from one another in a luxury condominium with dazzling city views. One residence is bathed in dramatic southern light, while the other captures iconic northern vistas of the Empire State Building, Met Life Building, and One Vanderbilt. Together, they present the ultimate in flexibility—live in one and use the other as a home office, guest suite, or a private retreat for older children or extended family. Set in the heart of NOMAD just above Flatiron, each home is framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the interiors with natural light and showcase breathtaking views. Extra-wide living rooms easily accommodate both lounge and dining areas, while open chef’s kitchens are outfitted with crystal-white countertops and a suite of premium Subzero, Thermador, and Bosch appliances. Generously scaled limestone baths feature double vanities and deep soaking tubs, and elegant teak floors flow throughout. Additional conveniences include in-unit Bosch washer/dryers and central air. Residents of this full-service, pet-friendly condominium enjoy white-glove amenities including a 24-hour doorman, concierge, on-site fitness center, and direct parking access. The crowning jewel is the spectacular rooftop, offering panoramic Empire State views, BBQ grills, and cabana-style seating for relaxation and entertaining. Perfectly nestled between Madison and Park Avenue, the building offers tranquility while being steps from the energy of Manhattan’s best dining, nightlife, shopping, and hotels. Madison Square Park—with its art installations and original Shake Shack—is just a short stroll away, as are Eataly and the three Michelin Star Eleven Madison Park. Seamless transportation is at your doorstep with the 6 train only a block away. Sorry, no pets.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
