Property Description for 75 Prospect Park Southwest, E-8

Welcome to this newly renovated and flexible one bedroom (currently used as a 2) home in a grand elevator Art Deco coop, directly across from Prospect Park in the heart of Windsor Terrace.

Flooded with southeast and southwestern light, this serene fifth-floor corner unit blends pre-war character with modern functionality. Thoughtfully reimagined in 2025, the home features refinished oak floors with custom millwork, moldings and trim, as well as new windows and upgraded electrical service throughout.

The spacious entryway includes a large Elfa-organized closet, and opens to a custom built-in desk. The living room is beautifully proportioned, offering space for both a living area and separate dining space. Large windows showcase Prospect Park treetop views.

The kitchen features marble counters, a new Bosch gas range and a dishwasher. The Kohler-finished bathroom is complemented by a custom linen closet and storage cabinet.

The primary bedroom maximizes storage with a wall of custom millwork closets. A second work-from-home space is off the bedroom, glass enclosed to maximize light and privacy, ideal for two people working from home. The secondary bedroom opens to the living space with a pocket door.

Pet-Friendly and surrounded by gardens, 75 Prospect Park Southwest is a beautifully cared for, 52-unit, elevator coop with a live-in super, secure basement storage, bike storage, a recently upgraded laundry room, and a tradition of excellent financial management.

Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
