Property Description for 65 Cooper Square, 3-C

Welcome to a rare duplex one-bedroom offering 17-foot ceilings, soaring windows, contemporary finishes, and a uniquely spacious layout in one of downtown's most vibrant locations.
This sun-filled home features an open-concept living and dining level with double-height windows overlooking Cooper Square, bringing in excellent natural light throughout the day. The expansive great room easily accommodates both living and dining areas, and the dramatic ceiling height creates an airy, loft-like feel.
The newly renovated kitchen is outfitted with sleek white cabinetry, modern hardware, a large peninsula with breakfast bar seating, and a clean, neutral palette that blends seamlessly with the space.
Upstairs, the generous bedroom level provides exceptional privacy and flexibility. With abundant closet space, room for a king bed, and an open mezzanine-style layout, the upper floor feels bright and oversized - a rare separation of space for a one-bedroom in this neighborhood. A private storage closet located on this level offers valuable additional storage rarely found in similar East Village homes. The bathroom has been tastefully updated with modern tilework, a glass-enclosed shower, contemporary fixtures, and clean, minimalist lines.
Additional highlights include hardwood floors throughout and the character and warmth you expect from an East Village home - paired with a fresh, modern renovation.
Located at the nexus of the East Village, NoHo, and the Bowery, 65 Cooper Square places you moments from some of downtown's best dining, nightlife, cafés, and transportation. Convenient access to Wegmans, Astor Place, and multiple subway lines including the 6 and R/W trains. A stylish, move-in-ready duplex with incredible volume, light, and storage - this is East Village living at its best.

East Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The East Village has two distinct moods. By day, it is quiet and peaceful. Everyone is out and about, either working or relaxing at Tompkins Square Park, strolling or jogging along the East River, or hanging out in one of the subsets of cultural activity, such as St. Mark’s Place.

But then night falls, and the East Village comes to life, keeping the entertainment and nightlife going long after the other neighborhoods have called it quits for the night. People from all five boroughs flock to the dive bars and speakeasies, head for their favorite cafes and restaurants, or drop in to a music venue to listen to hot tunes or cool jazz and dance the night away. Don’t worry, you don’t have to “know somebody” to gain admittance to even the most popular venues. You won’t find velvet ropes, bouncers, or and a waiting list at the door of most places. Just walk right in and enjoy yourself.

Be prepared for the increased population during fall through spring, when NYU is in session. College students will be everywhere, contributing to the youthful essense of the neighborhood.
