Welcome to 424 Evergreen Ave, a boutique three-residence condominium in the heart of prime Bushwick. Thoughtfully designed with an emphasis on sun-filled interiors and intuitive flow, the building offers a rare opportunity to enjoy the feel of townhouse living with the ease and refinement of a luxury condominium.

The Penthouse at 424 Evergreen is a striking three-bedroom, three-bath duplex that showcases 1,860 sq ft of interior living and five separate private outdoor spaces. Lofty ceilings and oversized sliding glass doors flood the main level with natural light from both northwest and southeast exposures, while a sculptural staircase crowned by a dramatic skylight anchors the home with architectural presence and a sense of openness. The residence is accompanied by a private storage unit.

The chef's kitchen epitomizes high-end detailing with sleek custom cabinetry, stainless-steel appliances, and an expansive pantry for effortless organization. A washer/dryer adds everyday convenience. Two bedrooms on the second floor are generously sized, each with its own sliding glass door-one opening to a private balcony, and the primary extending onto its own terrace. This bedroom also holds a walk-in closet and spa-inspired en-suite bath with a standing shower.

Discover the penthouse's crown jewel on the upper level: a private rooftop terrace with sweeping 360-degree city views. This expansive outdoor sanctuary provides the perfect setting for elevated entertaining, sunlit lounging, or quiet moments above the city.

The surrounding cultural landscape is unmistakably Bushwick, with local anchors like Ornithology Jazz Club, The Bushwick Collective, and House of Yes, all nearby. Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
