Property Description for 20 Pine Street, 908

Welcome to Apt 908 at The Collection at 20 Pine, a refined 1-bedroom, 1.5-bath loft spanning 1,208 square feet in the heart of the Financial District. This residence offers a unique blend of modern design and luxury, including soaring 11-foot beamed ceilings, European oak floors, ebonized oak millwork, and a custom kitchen with dark wood cabinetry. Southern exposure provides abundant natural light and protected, unobstructed views over Federal Hall and the New York Stock Exchange.

The home has been extensively upgraded with high-end renovations throughout. The primary bathroom was enhanced with additional stone wall coverage and upgraded countertops and bathtub clad in striking Black Galaxy marble, complemented by a glass-tile backsplash and a luxury Italian sink. A combination Jacuzzi and air tub, a smart mirror, and a Kohler Karing automatic toilet/bidet complete the spa-like experience. The living room is outfitted with a 120-inch motorized drop-down projection screen and integrated projection system, pre-wired for in-wall surround sound, and enhanced by additional ceiling lighting. Throughout the residence, SOMFY motorized blinds have been installed on all windows, and a new upgraded washer/dryer adds modern convenience.

There is also a unique opportunity to combine Residence 908 with neighboring Residence 907 to create an expansive corner home. The combined layout allows for the potential of a spacious two- or three-bedroom residence with 2.5 bathrooms, offering flexible living and entertaining space. This rare option provides buyers the chance to customize a larger, light-filled corner layout rarely available in the building.

20 Pine offers a refined lifestyle shaped by the Armani/Casa aesthetic. Residences feature high-end, integrated Miele and Sub-Zero appliances, spa-like stone bathrooms with rain showers and soaking tubs, and ebony hardwood floors. Plus, the vibrant neighborhood offers a host of local attractions, from trendy eateries to cultural hotspots. Perfectly positioned in the heart of the Financial District near major subway lines, the New York Stock Exchange, the Seaport, and WTC, 20 Pine blends historic architectural character with modern luxury living. Financial District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Financial District (FiDi) today is a bit of a hybrid neighborhood, as the residential component continues to grow in an area that has been historically dominated by the financial and insurance industries. The residential experiment, which began more than two decades ago, continues to evolve in an area with a large concentration of older, large office buildings. Developers have taken to these aged buildings and have re-positioned them as residential properties. In turn, the public spaces, services and retail establishments needed for a thriving residential neighborhood have followed making this an important destination for city residents.

Since 2000, the residential population of the Financial District has nearly tripled in size from about 23,000 residents to more than 60,000 inhabitants. Many of the residential pioneers to FiDi were people attracted to the lower rents in the neighborhood, particularly the post-collegiate crowd. While the millennials still maintain a large footprint here, there are plenty of families that now consider the Wall Street area home.

Many of those that live in the Financial District walk to work. If you reside here and need to commute elsewhere, the transportation from here is about as good as it gets. Express trains can take you to Midtown, either east or west, in twenty minutes. Brooklyn is but a single subway stop away. There are also ferries across to Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
