Welcome to Residence 1901 at the Caledonia, ideally situated in the heart of Chelsea. A perfect opportunity to own a condo in one of Manhattan's most culturally significant neighborhoods with LOW MONTHLY CARRYING COSTS.

This high-floor, mint-condition one-bedroom residence showcases sweeping northern exposures with stunning views of the Midtown Manhattan skyline, the High Line, and partial Hudson River vistas. Soaring ceilings exceeding nine feet, paired with dramatic floor-to-ceiling windows, bathe the home in exceptional natural light throughout the day.

Upon entry, a thoughtfully designed open chef's kitchen features sleek bamboo cabinetry, quartzite slab countertops, sandstone tile finishes, and premium appliances, including a Viking gas cooktop and oven, Sub-Zero refrigerator, Miele dishwasher, and Miele washer/dryer. The kitchen flows seamlessly into the spacious living and dining area, where expansive windows frame captivating city views and create an airy, modern living experience perfect for entertaining and lounging.

The separate bedroom serves as a peaceful retreat, equally enhanced by open skyline views. A sliding pocket door fully separates the living and sleeping areas for added privacy. The bedroom also features a sizable closet and enough space to accommodate a queen-sized bed.

The Caledonia is the first luxury condominium built along the High Line and remains one of the only residential buildings with direct private access to this iconic park. Residents enjoy a full-service lifestyle with premier amenities including a 24-hour doorman and concierge, tranquil Zen meditation garden with cascading waterfalls, pet spa, residents' entertainment lounge, conference facilities, an Equinox fitness center, and a beautifully landscaped sun terrace featuring panoramic views stretching from the High Line to the Empire State Building.

Perfectly positioned moments from Chelsea Market, the Whitney Museum, the Meatpacking District, Hudson River Park, world-class dining, vibrant nightlife, and convenient access to the A/C/E and L subway lines, Residence 1901 offers the very best of downtown Manhattan living.

Reasonably low monthlies, desirable location and building, along with strong rental potential makes the Caledonia the perfect primary home, pied-a-terre, or rental investment.

Chelsea | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The row houses portray the world-class architecture of Greek Revival, Italianate and Georgian styles. The population is both ethnically and socially diverse, which is reflected in the restaurants and retail businesses in the neighborhood.

Western Chelsea is the center of the NYC art world, where you will find more than 200 art galleries housed in rehabbed factories and warehouses, as well as in newly-constructed buildings.

While people of many different cultures call Chelsea home, it has been a mecca over the years for people in the LGBTQ community. One census reported that as many as 22% of its residents were gay couples. Eighth Avenue is a trendy area for LGBTQ-oriented dining and shopping. Although it no longer draws the LGBTQ population that it once did, Chelsea still has many popular alternative bars.

Chelsea is primarily residential, consisting of a mixture of diverse complexes, low-rise apartment blocks, tenements, townhouses, renovated row houses, and luxury high-rises.

Chelsea is an interesting and sought-after place to live, with unique clothing boutiques, restaurants, and delis representing cultures from around the world. In addition to its quirky establishments, Chelsea has fine dining restaurants and a vibrant, hip nightlife, which adds to its allure.

Chelsea is well-served by public transportation. At least six city bus routes traverse Chelsea. There are three NYC subway routes with stops on Seventh Avenue, three on Eighth Avenue, and two more on Sixth Avenue. The 34th Street - Hudson Yards Station opened in 2015 with its main entrance in Chelsea.
