Property Description for 432 Park Ave, 50-A

Residence 50A at 432 Park Avenue
2 Bedrooms / 2 Baths / 1,789 SF (166 SQM)

Positioned on the 50th floor of this iconic Park Avenue tower, Residence 50A encompasses 1,789 square feet (166 square meters) of refined living space. Expansive northern and eastern exposures frame sweeping views of Central Park, the East River, and the Manhattan skyline, while soaring 12'6" ceilings and the building's signature 10' x 10' windows flood the residence with natural light throughout the day, creating a constantly evolving urban backdrop.

A gracious entry gallery introduces the home and provides a natural separation between public and private spaces. It leads seamlessly into a generous corner living and dining room, ideal for both elegant entertaining and everyday living. The main entertaining spaces face north and east, offering sweeping views of Central Park and the East River, framed by the building's iconic architecture and signature oversized windows, which define the residence throughout.

The windowed open kitchen is thoughtfully designed with white lacquer and natural oak cabinetry, marble countertops and floors, and a marble breakfast bar overlooking the East River. A full suite of Miele stainless steel appliances-including a gas cooktop, oven, warming drawer, refrigerator/freezer, and built-in microwave-offers exceptional performance within a clean, understated design.

The primary suite enjoys a coveted north-facing exposure with direct Central Park views and serves as a tranquil retreat within the home. Extensive custom built-in closets and storage enhance functionality, while the spa-like primary bathroom is clad in marble and appointed with radiant-heated floors, dual vanities, a deep soaking tub, and a separate glass-enclosed shower.

The second bedroom suite, positioned to capture East River views, is generously proportioned and features its own marble-clad bathroom. The powder room has been thoughtfully reconfigured to provide additional storage and may easily be restored to its original use if desired.

Completed in 2012, 432 Park Avenue was designed by renowned architect Rafael Viñoly and is prominently positioned on Park Avenue between East 56th and 57th Streets. Rising 1,396 feet above Manhattan, it is among the tallest residential towers in the Western Hemisphere and one of New York City's most recognizable and coveted addresses.

Residents enjoy over 30,000 square feet of impeccably staffed, world-class amenities, beginning with a dramatic marble-clad porte-cochère arrival. Amenities include an elegant residents' lounge, a 5,000-square-foot landscaped terrace, a private restaurant with in-residence dining, outdoor dining areas, and a 75-foot indoor swimming pool. The building also features a state-of-the-art fitness center and a serene spa with sauna, steam, and massage rooms.

Additional amenities include a library curated by Assouline, billiards room, screening room, boardroom, playroom, and yoga studio. White-glove services include 24-hour concierge and doorman, in-suite dining and room service, and a fully staffed on-site parking garage with valet-delivering an exceptional level of privacy, service, and comfort at one of Manhattan's most distinguished residential addresses.

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
