There is a live in super, an updated lobby, shared backyard and courtyard. There is also a full laundry room which provides for most of the apartments. 6D itself is on the top floor of the building, making it a very quiet space.
The chef's kitchen was renovated a few years ago and has all new stainless steel appliances, custom cherry cabinets and granite counters. Lots of cabinets give way to an expanded amount of room for all your favorite dishes.
There are wood floors throughout. The dining room opens up to a large and inviting living area, good for entertaining or just hanging out.
The foyer area can be an office, sitting area or a space to read and relax. Both bedrooms are a good size and have multiple closets. They are both big enough to easily accommodate king size beds.

The view from the top floor is a tree lined street of mostly townhouses. You can also see the rooftops and views of Brooklyn looking toward other neighborhoods.
The building is situated in the heart of the original historic Park Slope district. There is easy access to Prospect Park, The Brooklyn Museum and the
wonderful Botanic Gardens. Subway lines and buses are all very close and it is an easy walk to the B/Q and 2/3 lines. 7th Ave is home to many great shops and restaurants which make walking there a pleasure.
There is no place more inviting than this great neighborhood and beautiful block!

That said, it doesn’t mean that parents don’t know how to have a good time... a slew of bars constantly opening in the neighborhood ranging from the high-end cocktail saloon to the dive (well, by Park Slope standards, anyway).
