Property Description for 800 Park Place, 3-R

Welcome to a home that defies the standard expectations of city living. Residence 3R is a stunning two-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex that spans approximately 1,300 square feet of airy, loft-like luxury.

The moment you enter, your eyes are drawn upward to the dramatic 18-foot ceilings and the massive windows that flood the home with natural light. The main level is anchored by a massive chef's kitchen that stands as a centerpiece of the home. This isn't just a kitchen; it is an expansive culinary workspace featuring top-of-the-line appliances, including a professional-grade Viking range and high-end stainless steel finishes. The oversized breakfast bar easily accommodates four, making it the perfect spot for morning coffee or casual evening entertaining while overlooking the grand, open-concept living area. Just off the living space, you can go to your private balcony to enjoy a quiet moment outdoors.

What truly sets this home apart is the upper level, which feels less like a loft and more like a separate apartment entirely. Ascending the architectural floating staircase reveals a massive second floor that offers incredible privacy and limitless potential. This expansive landing is a transformative space-measuring a generous 11' x 12'-that can adapt to your specific needs; envision a sprawling media lounge, a secondary living room, a massive creative studio, or a formal library. This floor also houses a second full bathroom and a second bedroom that is equally versatile, serving perfectly as a peaceful guest suite, a quiet nursery, or a high-end home office tucked away from the main living areas.

Storage is an absolute priority in this home, which features an incredible abundance of closet space integrated into both levels. From the double-wide closets on the upper floor to the deep storage on the main level, there is a designated place for everything. For ultimate modern ease, the unit also includes an in-unit washer and dryer, ensuring total convenience. Every detail has been meticulously selected, from the warm oak flooring to the modern bathrooms clad in floor-to-ceiling stone with deep soaking tubs and premium fixtures.

Perfectly situated at 800 Park Place in the heart of Crown Heights, you are positioned in one of Brooklyn's most vibrant corridors. Enjoy a swift commute with the 2, 3, 4, and 5 trains just minutes away at Franklin Avenue, or the A and C trains at Nostrand Avenue. On the weekends, you are just a short stroll from the world-class greenery of Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, and the Botanical Garden. This duplex offers the rare combination of high-end finishes and incredible architectural volume in a location that puts the best of the city right at your doorstep.

Crown Heights | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Originally known as Crown Hill by the Lenape Indians that lived there, Crown Heights has evolved into a diverse neighborhood, occupied primarily by Hasidic Jews and one of the largest Caribbean populations to be found anywhere outside of the West Indies.

Head over to Nostrand Avenue, one of the main West Indian commercial areas in the neighborhood, which is lined with stores that have been in those exact same places for generations, providing their goods and services to area residents. Kingston Avenue has similar commercial activities that support the Jewish community, and Franklin Avenue shows the most signs of change and gentrification, with an ever-expanding mix of yoga studios, coffee shops, and organic grocery stores that serve the influx of young professionals. No matter which of these areas you visit, you will find an interesting mix of businesses that you wouldn’t normally picture as existing side-by-side. It is all part of the cultural diversity of Crown Heights.

The neighborhood is bisected, from east to west, by Eastern Parkway, which is a beautiful, 3-mile-long boulevard lined with mature trees. This leafy oasis was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, famed designer of Central Park, the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina, and the U. S. Capitol in Washington, D. C.

You will find a mix of low-rise apartment buildings, large middle-class elevator buildings, brownstones, and some luxury buildings. Century-old architecture stands next to modern residential developments in a visually interesting mix of styles, much as the diversity of the residents exists. People who would not normally meet and mix are forging new pathways to cultural understanding by working, living, and playing together in the same neighborhood.
