Property Description for 45 East 25th Street, 22-A

BRIGHT 1BR WITH BALCONY AND PARK VIEW at The Stanford - 45 East 25th Street in Flatiron!

This amazing one bedroom home at 45 East 25th Street has direct open views of Madison Square Park from every room and the balcony! All western exposure provides spectacular park and city views with stunning sunsets! You'll enjoy the spacious rooms and great closet space.

The bedroom is large enough for a king sized bed and plenty of other furniture. It has a large wall-to-wall closet and bright open views. The pass-through kitchen opens to the living area so the chef can be part of the party! The windowed bath is sparkling Carrara marble.

The apartment is currently undergoing a thoughtful renovation. The next resident will enjoy new custom closets, a refreshed kitchen and bathroom, refinished floors, and other upgrades.

At lease signing, the tenant will pay one month's rent and one month's security deposit. The landlord is not charging any fees in connection with the tenant's application for, or lease of, the apartment. However, because the unit is located in a condominium, the condominium and its managing agent charge the incoming resident the following fees: a $750 processing fee, a $75 per person credit check fee, a $1,071 move in fee, and a $500 refundable moving deposit. The condominium also charges a move out fee and refundable deposit, which are paid when a resident moves out. These are currently $1,071 and $500, respectively, but may be different at that time. Should the lease be renewed for an additional term, the managing agent charges the tenant a renewal processing fee, currently $350, but may be different at that time.

The Stanford is a full-service building with a 24-hour doorman, gym, private courtyard, and laundry on every other floor. Gym, gas, internet, and basic cable are included! The building is in the best Flatiron location, overlooking Madison Square Park, and near all Park South restaurants, shopping and services. You can't beat this location for convenience to transportation.

Available June 8 for a one year minimum lease, 2 years preferred.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
