Property Description for 78 Harman Street, 2-B

Available for immediate occupancy. Closings have commenced.

78 Harman Street offers a boutique collection of eight residences shaped by thoughtful design and understated luxury. Tucked along a quiet, tree-lined block in Bushwick, it introduces a calm, modern sensibility to the neighborhood's vibrant character.

Residence 2B is an expansive two-bedroom, two-bathroom retreat designed for both effortless entertaining and quiet repose. The home is defined by its east-facing exposure, which draws in a wealth of light through oversized windows, while the living area extends seamlessly onto a private balcony.

The kitchen serves as the heart of the residence, where culinary enthusiasts will appreciate the premium Bosch appliance package and Fisher & Paykel refrigerator. Elegant White Calcutta quartz countertops and custom cabinetry provide a refined, functional backdrop that is built to last, all complemented by the polished warmth of rich white oak hardwood floors.

Both bedrooms offer a sense of private sanctuary, with the primary bedroom boasting a private balcony and a full en-suite. Both the en-suite and off suite bathrooms feature floor-to-ceiling marble, custom floating vanities, and modern brushed brass accents. Modern convenience is prioritized with generous storage throughout and a full-size, in-unit vented washer/dryer.

Residents can enjoy the stunning common roof deck showcasing panoramic skyline views of Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan.

Just moments from Maria Hernandez Park, 78 Harman is centrally located with easy access to some of Bushwick's most popular restaurants, cafes, and nightlife, with transportation accessible via the M train at Central Avenue and the J train at Kosciuszko Street.

Bushwick | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

As one of the most diverse neighborhoods in New York, Bushwick offers a perfect snapshot of just how multicultural the city is. Long-established as an amalgam of cultures and ethnicities, a wave of varying types of immigrants trickled in from the seventeenth to twentieth centuries, with Bushwick largely becoming a home to Hispanics of Puerto Rican and Dominican backgrounds by the latter part of the twentieth century.

With the Bushwick Initiative of the mid-00s that aided in revitalization, it became an attractive area to young professionals and artists. And even now, Bushwick has sustained affordable rent prices where other North Brooklyn counterparts, like Williamsburg and Greenpoint, have become more expensive. Priding itself on the weird and the wacky, numerous art collectives thrive in this part of Brooklyn, once famously named the seventh coolest neighborhood in the world by Vogue.

Though it has drawn in many tourists in recent years (there’s even a graffiti tour you can take from the Bushwick Collective), the neighborhood remains very much community-oriented, and has not been subject to quite the same sort of corporate infiltration phenomenon of its nearby Williamsburg environs.

But yes, of course, Bushwick has come a very long way from its 80s and 90s reputation as being “The Well,” a nickname given to it for its free-flowing and widely available amount of drugs (quantity over quality being the cliche applied here).
