Property Description for 15 East 30th Street, 19-A

Introducing residence 19A at Madison House, a thoughtfully designed corner 1-bedroom, 1-bath home with sweeping skyline views in the heart of NoMad.

This 938 square foot residence features a refined entry foyer that flows into an expansive living and dining area, framed by high ceilings and soaring 10-foot windows with open northern and western exposures. The kitchen is appointed with custom rift-cut cabinetry by Gachot, complemented by honed Calacatta Borghini marble countertops and backsplash. A suite of Gaggenau appliances-including cooktop, combi-steam oven, double convection oven, refrigerator, and wine storage-completes the space. Throughout the home, five-inch white oak plank flooring and solid walnut doors lend warmth and continuity.

A private vestibule with a generous walk-in closet creates a natural separation between the entertaining spaces and the primary bedroom suite. The bathroom is finished in honed Bianco Dolomiti marble across both floors and walls, and features a custom Gachot-designed vanity and mirror, accented by matte platinum Dornbracht fixtures, along with a Kaldewei soaking tub and Duravit fixtures.

Residents of Madison House enjoy a double-height attended lobby and over 30,000 square feet of amenities, including a spa with a 75-foot lap pool, cold plunge, hot tub, steam room, sauna, and treatment suite. Additional offerings include a landscaped rooftop garden, a double-height private lounge and bar, formal dining room with catering kitchen, conference and reading rooms, a fully equipped fitness center with dedicated yoga studio, and a sports lounge with golf simulator, billiards, and a children's playroom.

NoMad | Manhattan

Quick Profile

NoMad, North of Madison Square Park, is a rectangular swath of land that is bordered by East 25th Street to the south, East 29th Street to the north, Sixth Avenue to the west, and depending who you ask, Madison or Lexington Avenue to the East. It’s had its acronymed name for over two decades but not every New Yorker calls the neighborhood NoMad.

Historic architecture, trendy hotels and restaurants and high-priced apartments - NoMad wasn’t always the coveted neighborhood that it is today. It’s gone through many transformations over the years. Including a red light district known as the Tenderloin in the 1880’s. It was a popular shopping destination and a place where high society held court in the mid 19th century. It was part of New York City’s Silicon Alley in the 1990’s.

As of lately, world class chefs and restaurants have moved into NoMad. It’s tied with Midtown Manhattan for having the most Michelin stars (six stars to date). Besides NoMad’s architecture, nightlife, and restaurants, we can’t forget the added perk of being close to other great neighborhoods and cultural institutions. NoMad’s central location makes it easier to get just about anywhere in the city. You can walk to Chelsea, West Village, Union Square or Grand Central Station in no time at all. The N, R, 1, 6, B, Q, F, and M are very close or just a few blocks away. Penn Station is also within walking distance.
