Property Description for 216 Pulaski Street, 4-L

Rarely does condo with such amazing light and scale come to market in Bedford Stuyvesant! Enjoy a super quiet and charming loft-like 1 bed, 1 bath with its very own private rooftop cabana right above your living room, so no neighbors to disturb you! Imbued with a Parisian charm that includes soaring ceiling heights, exposed whitewashed brick, wide plank wood floors, and striking wood-framed floor-to-ceiling French style windows that open to the sky and offer treetop and skyline views. This is a very special apartment that defies the surrounding cookie cutter new construction, choosing instead to embrace the aesthetic charms of this neighborhood's rich historic roots, with no compromises on modern conveniences.

Enjoy a chef's kitchen, central heating and cooling, your very own washer and dryer, and a fully renovated and windowed bathroom! The current owner has also added some very stylish and practical custom built-ins, most notably an oak banquette that perfectly services your dining room with a view, and also includes a discrete TV pop up that allows you to hid the TV when not in use, AND make the best possible use of every square inch of this designer home. Lush drapes and window treatments and custom modern lighting is already in place, and the entire apartment has just been repainted; making this the perfect home to move right into with no added work.

The chef's kitchen includes Bertazzoni appliances, chic open shelving, a deep closed pantry space, ample white cabinetry, white quartz countertops, and perfectly placed task lighting. The sunny bathroom offers a closet for additional storage space, and also includes a large glass-enclosed walk-in shower, fashionably outfitted in a timeless blend of marble mosaics and Moroccan tiles. Oversized limestone walls and floors complete the look.
Worth the walkup for sure both inside, and out, the private cabana will be available just in time for the warm weather. Bring your BBQ, your plants, your dog, and all of your friends, to enjoy rooftop gatherings in your private cabana, the perfect extension of this light-infused interior space that will certainly bring you joy 365 days a year. Low taxes and common charges make this a far superior alternative to renting. Parents buying for children and investors also welcome. And of course, don't miss the vast array of amazing amenities and transportation in this dynamic location, including the A/C/G/J/M/Z trains nearby at the Myrtle and Kingston/Throop stations and Herbert Von King Park around the corner.

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
