Property Description for 110 North 1st Street, 2-E

Residence 2E at 110 North 1st Street is a sun-filled three bedroom, three bathroom home spanning 1,685 square feet with a 1,100 square foot wraparound private terrace. INDOOR PARKING and STORAGE are included in the price. This one is without question hard to beat.

Upon entering, a separate entry foyer with a coat closet opens into the living and dining area, which measures 16'8 27'10 and receives generous southern light through floor-to-ceiling Schüco windows. A three-panel sliding glass door connects directly to the terrace, making the indoor-outdoor transition completely effortless.

At 1,100 square feet, the wraparound terrace is something you rarely find in this neighborhood. There is room for a full outdoor dining setup, lounge seating, and a dedicated grilling area. Host a summer dinner party or start your morning with open-sky views and coffee. The scale out here is hard to come by.

The open kitchen is built around an island with bar seating for four, custom Italian cabinetry, Statuarietto marble countertops and backsplash, and a full Gaggenau appliance suite including an induction cooktop, electric oven, and integrated refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave drawer.

The primary suite is tucked away from the living areas and easily accommodates a king-sized bed, with a dedicated window seating area and walk-in closet. The ensuite bath features a double vanity, glass-enclosed shower, soaking tub, Duravit and Watermark fixtures, and a custom LED medicine cabinet with marble finishes throughout.

The second and third bedrooms are generously sized with large closets and direct terrace access, each served by its own full bathroom finished in limestone and dolomite with the same high-end fixture package.

Additional features include an in-unit washer/dryer, multi-zone central heat and air, European white oak floors, and custom Italian millwork throughout.

The building offers a part-time doorman, 24/7 Carson virtual doorman, double-height lobby, residents lounge, library with double-sided fireplace, children's playroom, pet spa, and rooftop dog run. The wellness level is organized around a central rotunda and includes a fitness center opening to a landscaped garden, an adjacent yoga studio, a heated plunge pool clad in full-size Pietra Cardosa stone slabs, a Swedish-style dry sauna with custom wood paneling, and a meditation room with a backlit onyx wall. The rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the East River and Manhattan skyline with communal dining, lounge seating, a summer kitchen, and private cabanas, some with their own summer kitchens and grills set within privacy walls.

Parking spot 11 and private storage are included in the sale, with annual taxes of $913.52 for parking and $245.28 for storage.

Williamsburg | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Equal parts family-friendly and millennial haven/nightlife destination, Williamsburg offers the best of all worlds. Whether by night or by day, the ‘Burg has endless options for every type of personality and interest--which has only increasingly become the case after the neighborhood was rezoned in 2005. With the floodgate opened for more varied types of businesses, Williamsburg saw one of the highest rates of development in the past decade than any other part of Brooklyn.

Referred to as “Little Berlin” for its late night and club-oriented nature, Williamsburg works as hard as it plays. Apart from the Clubland concentrated around Wythe Avenue, there is also a slew of offices (like 25 Kent Avenue, a sprawling eight-floor, 500,000-square foot waterfront building) and co-working spaces such as WeWork, The Yard and Green Desk that make it an ideal location for the corporate-, startup- and tech-oriented set.

With more offices setting their sights on this part of Brooklyn, it only makes sense that more people want to live close to where they work. Apart from your average walk-up apartment, W-burg has famously become home to numerous condos along the waterfront that continue to grow and expand in concert with the businesses and corporate hubs that have entered the environment.

Even with its many and undeniable changes, however, Williamsburg remains an arts-friendly community, particularly with regard to music and literature. While DIY spaces have come and gone, certain staples have persisted to become institutions that still provide a place for up and coming musicians to perform. On the literary front, long-standing indie bookstores like Spoonbill and Sugartown and Book Thug Nation have paved the way for others to cross the river, namely McNally Jackson Books.
