Property Description for 145 Reade Street

A Fully Reimagined Tribeca Townhouse of Uncommon Scale
Spanning over 10,500 SF+/- across seven levels, 145 Reade Street is a 23.5’ wide single-family townhouse configured as a complete vertical residence. The home comprises 4 bedrooms, 7 full and 4 half bathrooms, with a full-floor primary suite, double-height library, cinema, private gym, and multiple formal and informal living environments.
A 24’ double-height entry introduces the scale of the home, while a private rooftop terrace with a 17’ heated saline pool, outdoor kitchen, and additional terraces complete a cohesive indoor-outdoor program—an offering rarely achieved within Tribeca townhouses.

Tribeca, Precisely Positioned
Set on a quiet residential stretch between Church Street and West Broadway, 145 Reade Street sits within the core of Tribeca’s most established neighborhood fabric. West Broadway, located approximately 0.2 miles+/- from the home, anchors the area’s retail and dining corridor, while Hudson River Park, approximately 0.4 miles+/- away, provides direct access to waterfront open space and recreation. Surrounded by historic loft buildings and long-standing residential blocks, the setting balances privacy with immediate proximity to the neighborhood’s defining lifestyle and architectural context.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
