Property Description for 328 Dean Street, 3-C

There are very few opportunities to experience true loft living in the heart of brownstone Brooklyn - and this remarkable 2-bedroom, 2-bath residence captures that rare feeling the moment you arrive.
Step directly from your keyed private elevator into an expansive, sun-drenched home where scale, volume, and light immediately set the tone. Spanning approximately 1,300 square feet, the residence evokes the authenticity of classic loft living while delivering the comfort and refined details for modern Brooklyn living.
The dramatic open living space is the centerpiece of the home - airy, bright, and endlessly versatile. Soaring ceilings, oversized windows, and hardwood floors create a warm industrial elegance, while natural light pours across the interiors throughout the day. Whether hosting friends for dinner, working from home, or simply enjoying a quiet morning coffee, the seamless flow of the living, dining, and kitchen spaces offers the kind of openness rarely found in today's rental market.
The kitchen is designed for gathering and entertaining, integrated beautifully into the living space so conversation and connection never feel interrupted. Built-in air conditioning units, an in-unit washer and dryer, and generous storage throughout make daily living effortless.
Tucked privately toward the rear of the residence, the oversized primary suite feels like a retreat unto itself. The bedroom opens onto a private south-facing terrace with open sky views - an increasingly rare luxury in Brooklyn and the perfect extension of the home for slow mornings, evening wine, or simply taking in the quiet. The en-suite bath adds to the sense of privacy and comfort, while the second bedroom is impressively scaled and easily accommodates a full bedroom setup, workspace, or guest suite.
The second bedroom, also quietly positioned at the rear of the home, offers exceptional scale and flexibility - ideal as a guest room, dedicated office, nursery, or additional primary-quality bedroom. Just outside, the second full bath is thoughtfully situated off the wide central hallway, creating an intuitive and private layout for both everyday living and entertaining guests.
Beyond the apartment itself, the building was thoughtfully constructed with attention to quality and tranquility, featuring concrete floors and separation walls that provide a level of quiet and privacy uncommon in city living. Professionally managed and meticulously maintained, it offers an easy, elevated lifestyle.
And then there is the location. Set in the very center of Boerum Hill, one of Brooklyn's most beloved and convenient neighborhoods, you are surrounded by acclaimed restaurants, cafés, boutiques, galleries, and neighborhood favorites on every block. Nearly every major subway line is moments away, placing the very best of Brooklyn - and Manhattan - effortlessly within reach.

Boerum Hill | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Boerum Hill is a tiny, quiet, primarily residential neighborhood in Brooklyn. There are broad tree-lined streets that are filled with elegant three and four-story brownstones and townhouses, mostly built between 1840 and 1870. There is a definite family vibe to the neighborhood, but young professionals are moving in, and with them are coming trendy bars to cater to their desire for some measure of nightlife, without having to linger in Manhattan. These new bars and restaurants are being sandwiched in amongst existing shops on both Atlantic Avenue and Smith Street, which are the main commercial areas in Boerum Hill.

Boerum Hill offers a convenient location that is still able to maintain its small-neighborhood feel. Shopkeepers value their customers and remember their regulars. It continues to do what it was designed to do, namely provide small-town living in the very shadow of the big city. Boerum Hill is an easy commute to other parts of the city, making it easy to come home every day to the peace and tranquility of Boerum Hill while commuting to a job anywhere in the city.

The neighborhood is quite walkable and you can take the time to catch up with your neighbors while visiting on their stoops. Shopping on Atlantic Avenue is stress-free with no high pressure. You can meet with friends at any of the many coffee shops and while away pleasant hours in conversation. The dining scene on Smith Street is similarly laid-back. Don’t expect that there will be quite as much to see or do as there is in Manhattan, but there are a decent number of interesting bars and restaurants providing a measure of nightlife. The trade-off is worth it, as Boerum Hill provides a quiet, peaceful place to live and raise a family.
