Property Description for 23 Ocean Parkway, 2-E

Introducing The Windsor, a collection of 98 condominium residences located in the heart of Windsor Terrace, adjacent to Prospect Park and surrounded by one of Brooklyn’s most charming residential enclaves. Designed by Gene Kaufman Architects with interiors by Cat O’Brien Collective, the nine-story brick-clad building offers a mix of studio through three-bedroom homes across 51 unique unit types, shaped by warm natural materials, oversized steel-casement windows, and a thoughtful approach to modern parkside living. Residence 2E is a thoughtfully designed one-bedroom, one-bathroom home offering approximately 603 square feet of bright, efficient living space. Oversized steel-casement windows bring soft natural light into the home, while wide-plank white oak flooring and airy ceiling heights create a warm and understated atmosphere throughout. The open living and dining area feels both functional and refined, designed to accommodate everyday living with ease. The kitchen pairs custom white oak cabinetry with honed Taj Mahal quartz countertops and backsplash, alongside a fully integrated SMEG appliance suite including a paneled refrigerator and dishwasher, electric cooktop, convection oven, and microwave. Clean lines and thoughtful detailing create a modern, cohesive aesthetic throughout the space. The bedroom offers a calm and comfortable retreat with generous closet space, while the bathroom is finished in soft natural materials including Asian Statuary marble, radiant heated floors, satin brass fixtures, and a custom white oak vanity topped with Arabescato Corchia quartz. Residents enjoy access to an attended lobby, library lounge, fitness center, screening and game rooms, private dining spaces, landscaped courtyard garden, pet spa, and rooftop terraces overlooking the surrounding neighborhood skyline. Positioned moments from Prospect Park, The Windsor is surrounded by local cafés, neighborhood restaurants, and the quiet residential charm that defines Windsor Terrace.

Windsor Terrace | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

The tiny, comma-shaped neighborhood of Windsor Terrace is bookended between two of Brooklyn’s largest green spaces, Prospect Park and the massive Green-Wood cemetery. Aside from the presence of the Prospect Park Expressway, which dissects the neighborhood in two, this residential community offers a suburban sensibility with its tree-lined streets, low volume traffic and the low height character of its streetscape.

Many homes in the area are low to the ground, lending a suburban feel to the neighborhood, and the area has been down-zoned to maintain its low-rise appeal and character. There are plentiful brick row houses that have very low turnover. If you are lucky enough to buy or rent one, you tend to hold on to it. There are also small apartment buildings, private homes, condos and multi-family homes in a wide price range

There is commercial development along Prospect Park West, Fort Hamilton Parkway and Prospect Avenue, but even these new stores and restaurants are mostly family-owned and operated, maintaining the small-town charm. The pace of life is slower. The schools are good, which is a big draw for families with young children. The people are friendly, which gives a real sense of neighborhood and community to Windsor Terrace.
