Property Description for 71 Warren Street, 2

The Authentic Tribeca Loft-Reimagined for Modern Living

Some homes can be renovated. Others can never be replicated.

Set within an intimate 19th-century condominium on one of Tribeca's most coveted blocks, Residence 2 is the rare loft that preserves the neighborhood's architectural soul while delivering every modern convenience today's buyer expects.

A private keyed elevator opens directly into 1,800 sq ft of impeccably renovated living space, where soaring 12 ft pressed-tin ceilings, exposed brick, oversized 10 ft arched windows, and custom hardwood floors create a sense of warmth, scale, and authenticity rarely found in today's market.

The expansive great room is the heart of the home. Nearly 23 ft wide and bathed in natural northern light, it is equally suited for intimate evenings or large-scale entertaining. The beautifully integrated chef's kitchen anchors the space with clean contemporary design, premium appliances, generous storage, and an oversized island that invites family and guests to gather.

Tucked away on the quiet southern side of the residence, the private bedroom wing offers a true retreat. The serene primary suite features custom floor-to-ceiling closets and a spa-inspired bath designed for everyday luxury. A spacious second bedroom, beautifully appointed guest bath, and separate laundry room complete a thoughtful floor plan that balances openness with privacy.

Beyond the residence itself, ownership includes an approximately 100-square-foot private storage room and exceptionally low monthly carrying costs.

Perfectly positioned moments from celebrated restaurants, neighborhood cafés, boutique shopping, Hudson River Park, Whole Foods, and every downtown convenience, Residence 2 offers a lifestyle that is quintessentially Tribeca: timeless architecture, modern comfort, and effortless luxury.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
