Property Description for 432 Park Ave, 54-C

Perched high above the city at 432 Park Avenue and accessed via its own private elevator landing, Residence 54C is offered to the most discerning buyer for whom "exceptional" is simply the baseline expectation. Spanning 3,552 square feet, this two-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bath sanctuary is a study in uncompromising design. Residence 54C offers a rare opportunity to experience unmatched privacy, luxury, and custom-crafted living in the heart of Manhattan. Bathed in light framed by 432 Park's signature 10' x 10' square windows and set beneath ceilings that soar to 12'6", unparalleled views of Central Park, the Hudson River, and the Manhattan skyline unfold to the North, South, and West. Conceived by architect Deborah Berke, the residence reveals itself through a commanding entry foyer into a 950’ corner grand room designed for entertaining and dining. Bespoke millwork, designer light ?xtures, and custom-designed built-in ceilings complete the thoughtful and meticulous aesthetic choices. The windowed kitchen is a chef’s dream, boasting white-lacquer cabinetry, an oak-?nished center island, and marble underfoot, as well as a full suite of Miele appliances. A breakfast bar faces Central Park directly, and a discreet service entrance preserves the seamlessness and privacy between the home's two wings. Off the foyer, a hushed library or study offers a moment of retreat with its own city views, while a dramatic gallery hallway draws a deliberate line between the entertaining spaces and the private quarters. The south wing is reserved entirely for repose: an expansive primary suite commanding South and West exposures, appointed with custom-?tted dressing areas and walk-in closets designed as much for beauty as for order. Twin windowed bathrooms complete the suite with radiant-heated marble ?oors, custom vanities, a sculptural soaking tub, marble showers, and separate water closets. The spectacular result of a collaboration between renowned architect Rafael Viñoly and interior designer Deborah Berke, 432 Park Avenue became instantly iconic thanks to its soaring 1,396 foot height and an unmatched amenities package. Residents enjoy over 30,000 feet of conveniences including a private restaurant, a contemporary ?tness center with a 75-foot long pool, steam and sauna rooms, an entertaining center with a screening room, games room and children’s playroom. White glove services include a full-time concierge and doormen, and the building’s discreet, covered Porte-cochère ensures privacy and convenience.

Midtown East | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Midtown West and Midtown East have a lot in common. They’re bustling, iconic, and full of people. But just like siblings, their personalities can be vastly different. Midtown East is a bit more sophisticated and doesn’t quite have the vivacity and unruliness that its westerly counterpart exudes.

Midtown East is bordered by 42nd to the south, 59th Street to the north, 5th Avenue to the west, and 3rd Avenue to the east.

The neighborhood is famous for its high-end stores, tourist attractions, posh hotels (budget ones too), and iconic architecture. Midtown East is also one of the largest financial and business hubs in Manhattan. During normal business hours the sidewalks are full of commuters and people moving from point A to point B. In the early evening, when the masses have left for the day, things suddenly get a little quieter and the sidewalks have a lot less foot traffic.

Although largely a commercial neighborhood, residential areas of Midtown East do exist on the eastern section of the neighborhood.

Grand Central Station is located in Midtown East and like Midtown West, it’s an extremely commutable neighborhood. The 4, 5, 6, 7 and S trains whisk people in and out of the neighborhood 24 hours a day. Grand Central Station also serves as a hub for New York State and Connecticut commuter rails. These trains can take you anywhere along the Hudson River or up into Connecticut. It’s perfect for day tripping.
