Property Description for 77 East 12th Street, 3-F

GORGEOUS RENOVATED TWO BEDROOM IN THE HEART OF GREENWICH VILLAGE

Beautifully renovated, wonderfully bright and right in the middle of everything you love about downtown Manhattan. Residence 3F at 77 East 12th Street is the kind of apartment that makes you want to move in immediately. Stylish, functional and filled with sunlight, this is Village living done right.

The kitchen is a showstopper. Completely opened up and reimagined, it has been transformed into a gorgeous chef's kitchen that is equally suited to morning coffee, dinner for two or entertaining a crowd. A dramatic quartz waterfall counter provides plenty of prep space and seating, complemented by custom cabinetry and an impressive lineup of appliances including a Wolf range, concealed Sub Zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher and wine cooler. Schoolhouse lighting and thoughtful bespoke finishes complete the space. You may even find yourself cooking more often!

The kitchen flows directly into the expansive living and dining area, creating one fabulous open entertaining space. Beautiful hardwood floors, crown moldings and oversized brand new windows give the room a warm, polished feel, while abundant natural light keeps the apartment sunny and inviting throughout the day.

The corner primary bedroom is a true retreat, large enough for a king size bed with room to spare. Southern and eastern exposures bring in wonderful light, while generous closets solve one of the eternal New York City problems: where to put everything. The second bedroom comfortably accommodates a full size bed and is equally suited as a guest room, nursery, den or home office.

And then there is the bathroom. Forget the cramped NYC bathroom you were expecting. This oversized, windowed bath has been beautifully redesigned to create a spa like escape, complete with a luxurious rain shower, generous proportions and convenient closet storage. It is bright, serene and refreshingly spacious.

Beautiful hardwood floors? Check. Crown moldings? Check. Brand new windows? Check. Gorgeous open chef's kitchen? Check. King size primary bedroom? Check. Flexible second bedroom? Check. Excellent closets? Check. Washer and dryer permitted? Check. There is very little left to wish for.

As wonderful as the apartment is, the building and location may be what really seal the deal.

77 East 12th Street is an established full service cooperative with a 24 hour doorman, live in superintendent, friendly and attentive staff, a newly renovated laundry room, bicycle room, storage and an incredible roof deck with sweeping 360 degree views of Manhattan and spectacular sunsets.

The building offers the flexibility today's buyers appreciate, including pied à terre ownership, co purchasing, a liberal sublet policy and in unit washer and dryers permitted with approval.

And the location? Hard to beat. Greenwich Village, Union Square, the East Village and NoHo are all at your doorstep. Washington Square Park, the Union Square Greenmarket, fantastic restaurants, cafés, nightlife, shopping and transportation are all just moments away. You can spend years exploring the neighborhood and still discover a new favorite around the corner.

A beautifully renovated, move in ready two bedroom with this much light, style and functionality in a full service Greenwich Village building does not come along every day.

Come see Residence 3F before somebody else beats you to it!

Greenwich Village | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Birthplace of beatniks, Greenwich Village has always been a neighborhood bursting with creativity, home to artists, poets, musicians and writers. There is a lot of foot traffic in the neighborhood, as it gives convenient access to many other neighborhoods. There are a lot of popular eateries on MacDougal Street and bars on Bleecker Street. The neighborhood has a bit of a college-town feel, due to the presence of NYU. There aren’t large chain stores here, so it isn’t really a mecca for shopaholics, but you can find interesting vintage stores and specialty boutiques.

Available housing is centered on pre-war walk-ups. You can find good deals on the quieter, tree-lined side streets, as opposed to the bustling avenues. There are pockets of brownstones and townhouses, some dating back to the early 19th century, throughout the neighborhood, as well. You will find more luxurious housing in the newer high-rise buildings on Park and Fifth Avenues.

Washington Square Park is the heart of the neighborhood. If you sit near the Arch and close your eyes, you might catch an echo of the music and social history of the Park, floating through the air. Greats like Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, and Paul Simon started their storied careers right here in Greenwich Village. Today, the Village is a celebration of diversity, where everyone is welcome.
