Property Description for 130 Fulton Street, 6-B

Welcome to residence #6B, a rarely-available, designer renovated, corner loft featuring 11+ foot vaulted ceilings and more.

A formal foyer opens into an expansive entry gallery that runs the length of the apartment. At one end, a 27 foot long corner great room features seven oversized windows and sunny exposures. From the architectural cove lighting to the ventless fireplace, no expense was spared in creating this unforgettable space.

A larger-than-life chef's kitchen features top-of-the-line appliances by Miele and Thermador, a built-in coffee bar and espresso machine, an extra-deep double sink, and is anchored by an oversized bi-level island with seating for six. Beyond the kitchen, the spacious primary suite offers a sunny southeast exposure, generous custom built ins, and a spa-like primary bath with double sinks and walk in shower.

On the other end of the loft, two king-sized guest bedrooms, a third guest bedroom (currently used as an office), two additional full baths, and separate laundry room with extra storage round out this exceptional offering.

130 Fulton Street Condominium is an intimate pre-war conversion showcasing Renaissance Revival design. The building was originally conceived in 1893 by De Lemos & Cordes, the architectural firm later celebrated for creating Macy's flagship at Herald Square. Koeppel Companies partnered with architect Elliot Vilkas in 2005 to transform the commercial structure into 21 distinctive residences, expanding the property with three additional stories atop the original footprint. No two homes are alike, each offering generously proportioned, adaptable layouts.

Residents enjoy part-time doorman coverage, an on-site fitness center, and a rooftop terrace. The location places the building just minutes from the newly built Fulton Transit Center, the World Trade Center, and the Seaport's East River waterfront-putting residents at the crossroads of the financial district, historic seaport district, and Lower Manhattan's premier dining and cultural offerings.

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
