Property Description for 130 William Street, L-57A

Developed by Lightstone and designed by award-winning architect Sir David Adjaye in collaboration with Hill West Architects, 130 William Street is one of Lower Manhattan's most distinctive residential buildings.

L57A is a striking one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bathroom residence featuring 11-foot ceilings and a rare expansive private outdoor loggia spanning the full width of the home. Accessible from both the living room and bedroom, the loggia offers sweeping north and west exposures with views stretching from the Hudson River to the East River, across the Midtown and Downtown skylines, including One World Trade Center, and spectacular sunsets over the Hudson.

Oversized arched windows, wide-plank white oak flooring, and custom oil-rubbed bronze fixtures define the interiors. The open kitchen features custom Pedini blackened oak cabinetry, Salvatori marble countertops and backsplash, a cantilevered marble peninsula, and premium Gaggenau and Thermador appliances.

The bedroom enjoys direct loggia access and an elegant en-suite bath finished in Italian marble with carved stone sinks, an oversized shower, and radiant heated floors. The residence also includes a beautifully appointed powder room and an in-unit washer and fully vented dryer.

130 William offers an exceptional collection of amenities, including an infinity-edge spa pool, hot and cold plunge pools, sauna and massage rooms, state-of-the-art fitness center, yoga studio, basketball court, golf simulator, private IMAX theater, children's activity center, indoor and outdoor lounges, chef's catering kitchen, pet spa, and a private rooftop observation deck nearly 800 feet above Manhattan. Residents also enjoy a 24-hour attended lobby and concierge services.

Seaport District | Manhattan

Quick Profile

The Seaport District sits between the Financial District to the south and the Brooklyn Bridge to the north. The original Seaport designation was limited to the streets east of Water Street from Fletcher Street to Dover Street and incorporated the actual Seaport and the piers. But no more. Today, the neighborhood boundaries have expanded westward toward Park Row and include a surge of new developments in the area around Pace University and City Hall Park.

This is not your father’s Seaport. It is no longer a commercial hub and the seafood industry, which operated out of the port for nearly two hundred years, has been displaced. The older low-rise buildings that line these cobblestoned streets have been repositioned, the SouthBridge towers complex to the east of Water Street has gone free market, multiple commercial buildings have been converted to residential usage and new gleaming residential towers are rising on the site of the iconic J&R Music World which once lined the east side of Park Row.

Still, the Seaport is a small neighborhood, particularly quaint just north of Beekman Street. The streets are dominated by century-old warehouses and maritime buildings which gives the neighborhood its overt character. The Brooklyn Bridge, on its northern edge, looms in the backdrop.
