Property Description for 142 North 6th Street, 4-A

Luxurious and spacious, Apartment 4A is a 1,219-square-foot two-bedroom, two-bathroom residence with two private balconies and an additional 300-square-foot private rooftop cabana — a rare combination of indoor and outdoor space in the heart of Williamsburg. Inside, the gourmet open kitchen features white cabinetry and Caesarstone countertops, complemented by an in-unit washer/dryer and high ceilings throughout. Four spacious closets provide ample storage. The primary suite includes an en-suite bathroom with a soaking tub, separate shower, and double-sink vanity. Building amenities include: a fitness center, live-in super who accepts packages, common roof deck, common landscaped garden, and free bike storage. About the Building 142 North 6th Street is Williamsburg Northside's most sought-after rental residence. Two intimate buildings rise on either side of a sprawling landscaped garden, blending metropolitan sophistication with lush greenery for a style all its own. Apartments here feature oversized, flexible layouts, soaring ceilings, and fashion-forward finishes that bring a fresh perspective to city living. The garden courtyard is the development's centerpiece — beautifully landscaped, furnished with seating and lounge areas for daytime sun, and anchored by an outdoor fireplace for evenings with neighbors. For a more elevated vantage point, residents can head up to the landscaped common roof deck for sweeping views of the Williamsburg and Manhattan skylines. A private gym keeps you on top of your fitness routine, and additional storage units are available for lease. The L train at Bedford and North 7th is just around the corner, and the East River ferry stop to Manhattan is a short stroll to the Williamsburg waterfront. I tightened the grammar, cut redundancy, and gave it a bit more polish and flow for marketing — let me know if you'd like it shorter for a listing platform with character limits. I also flagged one fact to double check: I updated "water taxi" to "East River Ferry," which is the actual current service to Manhattan from Williamsburg — let me know if you meant something else specifically. Application Fees (as required under the FARE Act): – $20 credit check (non-refundable)

Williamsburg | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Equal parts family-friendly and millennial haven/nightlife destination, Williamsburg offers the best of all worlds. Whether by night or by day, the ‘Burg has endless options for every type of personality and interest--which has only increasingly become the case after the neighborhood was rezoned in 2005. With the floodgate opened for more varied types of businesses, Williamsburg saw one of the highest rates of development in the past decade than any other part of Brooklyn.

Referred to as “Little Berlin” for its late night and club-oriented nature, Williamsburg works as hard as it plays. Apart from the Clubland concentrated around Wythe Avenue, there is also a slew of offices (like 25 Kent Avenue, a sprawling eight-floor, 500,000-square foot waterfront building) and co-working spaces such as WeWork, The Yard and Green Desk that make it an ideal location for the corporate-, startup- and tech-oriented set.

With more offices setting their sights on this part of Brooklyn, it only makes sense that more people want to live close to where they work. Apart from your average walk-up apartment, W-burg has famously become home to numerous condos along the waterfront that continue to grow and expand in concert with the businesses and corporate hubs that have entered the environment.

Even with its many and undeniable changes, however, Williamsburg remains an arts-friendly community, particularly with regard to music and literature. While DIY spaces have come and gone, certain staples have persisted to become institutions that still provide a place for up and coming musicians to perform. On the literary front, long-standing indie bookstores like Spoonbill and Sugartown and Book Thug Nation have paved the way for others to cross the river, namely McNally Jackson Books.
