Property Description for 319 Greene Ave, 1-A

Modern Garden Duplex with Two Outdoor Spaces & Low Monthlies Welcome to Residence 1A at 319 Greene Avenue, an impeccably maintained, move-in-ready garden duplex on the border of Clinton Hill. Situated along a tree-lined street lined with historic brownstones and three active community gardens, the home enjoys an abundance of open sky and leafy greenery. The expansive layout, spanning across two levels, delivers the scale and feel of a townhouse with the turnkey ease of a modern condo. The upper level is anchored by a sunlit great room featuring a wide triple window framed by custom shelving and freshly refinished hardwood floors. The chef’s kitchen (renovated in 2025) integrates granite countertops with a breakfast bar, ceiling-height cabinetry, mosaic tile backsplash, a 33" porcelain apron-front sink, and a full suite of KitchenAid appliances—including a double-oven gas range, dishwasher, microwave, and bottom-freezer refrigerator. Down the hall, the peaceful primary bedroom features a private balcony overlooking the garden’s white magnolia tree, a full wall of custom cedar-lined wardrobes and drawers, and an additional closet. The fully renovated bath is outfitted with vintage-modern hex floor tile, an enameled cast iron tub with rain shower, a double farmhouse sink, and built-in linen shelving. Downstairs, the spacious lower level offers two versatile rooms, along with a half bath and abundant storage. Pella double French doors open directly to your expansive private garden and brick patio—creating a rare outdoor haven for dining, lounging, and entertaining. Additional features include central heating and cooling with a Google Nest thermostat, in-unit washer/dryer, and low monthlies anchored by a 421-a 25-year tax exemption through 2036. Set within The Lineage Condominiums just two blocks from the subway and steps from neighborhood favorites like Welcome Home and Speedy Romeo, Residence 1A offers turnkey luxury in the heart of brownstone Brooklyn. Pet-friendly; investors and pied-à-terre purchasers welcome.

Bedford Stuyvesant | Brooklyn

Quick Profile

Known for its historic brownstones and tight-knit enclave, Bed-Stuy has increasingly left behind its early reputation for being a “bedroom community” and transcended into a highly desirable neighborhood.

Distinct for its aesthetic, it is populated with ornate buildings characterized by cornices, friezes, finials, fluting and other marks of classic architecture. Built up during the period from 1870 to 1900, its historic district runs to the north of Jefferson Avenue, to the east of Malcolm X Boulevard and to the west of Tompkins Avenue.

At one point known as “Brooklyn’s Little Harlem,” the shape of the area has shifted toward attracting a wider demographic of people thanks to the influx of bars, restaurants, antique furniture stores and vintage boutiques. More police enforcement paired with the decline of the crack epidemic at the beginning of the 2000s also opened the door for increased development, as well as the occupation of formerly abandoned buildings and spaces.
