It is anchored on Eastern Parkway, a stunning thoroughfare designed by Frederick Olmsted & Calvert Vaux (modelled after the Champs-Elysees). In addition to all of the cultural anchored across the street, Grand Army Plaza plays host to a bountiful Saturday Farmers Market and Prospect Park serves as a respite from the hustle of city life.

The 2/3 train is just up the street and the B/Q trains are a little farther down on Flatbush. Atlantic Barclays is nearby and offers an array of subways into Manhattan (and beyond) as well as the LIRR to get out of town. Both Washington and Vanderbilt play host to myriad cafe's, restaurants and bars.
