Property Description for 41 North Moore Street, 3

A true floor-through loft on one of Tribeca’s most desirable blocks, this beautifully renovated two-bedroom home combines original industrial character with comfortable modern living. Ten windows across three exposures make the apartment exceptionally bright and airy. The home is only two flights up and the main living spaces retain the openness and informality of a classic Tribeca loft. High pressed-tin ceilings, painted brick, and tall windows overlooking a private garden frame a generous dining area and a more intimate living room beyond. The spaces feel open and connected while still maintaining their own distinct character. The open kitchen has been renovated with custom cabinetry, new countertops, Miele appliances, a dishwasher, and warm wood shelving. The simple, understated finishes complement the apartment’s original architectural details. At the opposite end of the home, the primary bedroom spans the full width of the apartment. Three large south-facing windows bring warm light and quintessential Tribeca views of neighboring brick facades, fire escapes, and historic ironwork. An original rolling factory door remains along one wall, a reminder of the building’s industrial past. The bedroom also includes a walk-in closet and a windowed alcove well-suited to a home office, reading nook, or private sitting room. The second bedroom comfortably fits a queen bed and has its own window overlooking the garden, making it equally suited to use as a bedroom, guest room, office, or studio. The fully renovated, windowed bathroom features custom cabinetry and a full-size stacked washer and dryer. Renovated throughout while preserving the details that give it character, this is a true Tribeca loft with the comfort and practicality of a finished home — bright, open, and full of original detail that’s increasingly hard to find. 41 North Moore is an intimate condominium on one of Tribeca’s most distinctive blocks, surrounded by cobblestone streets, historic loft buildings, restaurants, and galleries. Hudson River Park is two blocks away, the 1 train is just around the corner, and the A, C, and E trains are a short walk beyond that.

Tribeca | Manhattan

Quick Profile

TriBeCa, named after the small geographic triangle below Canal Street. It’s not really a triangle, it's a quadrilateral and it's bounded by West Street, Broadway, and Chambers Street. It’s a little too late for a name change and besides, QuaBeCa doesn't sound half as cool as Tribeca.

One of New York City’s more notable acronymed neighborhoods, TriBeCa is known for its trendy boutiques, fabolous restaurants, historical landmarks, and resident celebrity lofts. It still holds the title of one of the coolest places to live in New York City.

TriBeCa is one of the first residential neighborhoods of New York City. Way back in 1700’s wealthy New Yorkers built homes and maintained gardens in what is now TriBeca.

Later in history it shifted from residential to warehouses, commerce and markets. After the Civil War, shipping hubs moved from the East River to the Hudson River and revitalized areas like the South Street Seaport and TriBeca. When shipping and commerce increased, the area soon became a favorite spot for wholesalers to store their goods in large industrial warehouses.

Just like its neighbor SoHo, TriBeCa boasts one of the world’s largest collections of wrought-iron facades and Neo-Grecian architecture.
