Property Description for 251 Seaman Ave, 3-G

This junior one bedroom has a terrific layout. You enter the apartment through your foyer-- large enough for a dining table or a baby grand piano. Two very large closets and one walk-in closet will keep you organized and clutter free. The windowed original bath has a deep tub to relax in after a long day. The kitchen has been stripped bare and is ready for your own vision and kitchen designs, however there are lovely new stainless steel appliances. Original French doors lead you to the junior one bedroom with a full size window.

Prewar Art Deco elevator building offers a wonderful live-in super, bike storage, laundry, and storage cages (wait list). Just one block from beautiful Inwood Hill Park and three blocks from our farmers market, shopping, the A and 1 train, as well as Metro North. This location is a New Yorker's dream.

Come see what home feels like in our Inwood!

Inwood | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Inwood isn’t at all like those trendy acronymed neighborhoods further downtown and it doesn’t quite have a notable claim to fame but there is something especially charming about this predominantly Dominican neighborhood. It’s family-oriented with mom and pop shops, hookah bars, sports facilities, recreational venues and ethhnic eateries.

Inwood is the northernmost neighborhood of Manhattan. Any further north and you’ll be in the Bronx. It’s bounded by The Harlem River, which snakes around to its east and north side, The Hudson River and Inwood Hill Park to the west, and Fort George, an enclave of Washington Heights, to the south.

Rivers, hills and green spaces surround the neighborhood and the building height restrictions give it a suburban feel even though it's still part of the borough of Manhattan. Inwood, it’s the best of both worlds.
