Nothing like it... one of a kind... they broke the mold - all idioms used to essentially describe one thing: something that is special because there is nothing else exactly like it. That's the perfect description for 9E.

As you arrive at 225 E 46th St, you walk past finely appointed polished walnut colored solid mahogany wood paneled walls and into this post-war boutique hotel style condominium which is the ultimate in understated elegance.

Prince, Princess...King Or Queen...Which Ever You Are It's Up To You...
Welcome to Studio 9E, a spacious, triple mint, oversized alcove-like studio suite situated in the very heart of the Turtle Bay section of Midtown East, a world-class location not only completely surrounded by multi-million-dollar apartments but also anchored by the United Nations and Grand Central Terminal both just down the street.

Once you step into Apt 9E you will instantly see why it's breathtaking when you experience the exquisite attention to detail in craftsmanship and high-quality finishes and materials used to make this home unique and incredibly special starting with the rich, solid oak, ash colored plank flooring throughout the entire apartment plus the hip Italian style solid wood closet and bath doors with stainless steel accents. The luxury touches continue with a designer state of the art LED ceiling fixture at the entry foyer and beautiful tear-drop lamps over the kitchen area. Practically every room has been 100% remodeled in the past 6 months.

Entertain your guests from a high-end gourmet chef style kitchen featuring custom, neutral quartz countertops, European style cabinetry and a stainless steel Smeg gas range paired with a bold solid black Smeg slim design 2-door refrigerator and a Bosch dishwasher. There's also plenty of room for two chefs in the kitchen to prep, cook, and dazzle, all while being able to make eye contact and chat with your guests.

The generously sized living area accommodates a full-size sofa or sleeper sofa and dining table and the sleeping area can accommodate a Queen or even a King size bed, your choice. Keep everything looking showroom quality by utilizing the generous storage space available in the three large closets.

Before retiring for the night step into your own Spa quality bathroom with designer finishes and fixtures like Kohler and Ronbow Lassen plus enjoy sleek smoke colored Italian glass tiles and even a bench for sitting while doing a mani-pedi or contemplating world domination! The building features laundry in the basement and coming soon a fabulous roof deck!

To top it all off once night falls peek out your window for a view of the World Famous Chrysler Building and the Hemsley Building. Nothing says more about New York than the people and the fabulous architecture and when morning comes, have the bright sunshine that fills the apartment awake you naturally and not a noisy alarm clock.

This World Class neighborhood features famous restaurants and bar lounges like the Palm Restaurants, Sparks Steakhouse, PJ Clarkes, Smith & Wollensky and is minutes from popular stores such as Bloomingdales, Whole Foods, Morton Williams & Gristedes. Not to mention the convenience of the most famous transportation hub of them all...Grand Central Terminal where you can catch the Shuttle to Times Square or the 4,5,6,7 trains and all the Metro North trains plus Express Buses to Queens, Staten Island, Brooklyn & the Bronx. Oh, and by the way the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) will be getting a station here at Grand Central too...that means no more having to go to the 34th St Penn Station! Head just down the street and visit with diplomats and citizens of the world at the United Nations, get some organic fruits and veggies each Wednesday at the Farmers Market at Dag Hammarsjkold Plaza Park, watch the flowers blooming in the Katherine Hepburn Garden, catch a Japanese art exhibit at the Japan Society or maybe take a relaxing swim at the Vanderbilt YMCA or Equinox gym or grab a drink and a bite on 2nd Avenues restaurant row all just steps from your new address. Coming sometime in the future and for the 1st time in 60 years, there will be a waterfront promenade with seating benches and a bike path right behind the UN. Don't believe it? Well, no one ever believed the 2nd Ave Subway would become a reality either. So come be a part of the revitalization of one of NYCs quietly sophisticated and undervalued neighborhoods...Midtown East's Turtle Bay, before the secret is out

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
