Property Description for 250 East 54th Street, 34-B

Do you believe in Unicorns? Well, you will once you've been in this home! It truly is an oasis in the sky with all of the vibrance of midtown Manhattan below. There are no typical midtown views of brick walls here- you have OPEN CITY VIEWS from EVERY ROOM!!! Watch the sun rise from the dramatic, curved wall of northeastern facing windows in your expansive living room, or enjoy the brilliant twinkle of lights from the Midtown East skyline as the suns sets and paints the sky. A gracious entry foyer welcomes you home, while your fully equipped granite and stainless steel kitchen is the perfect setting for preparing those lavish meals when entertaining. Down the hall, you will find a queen sized second bedroom, with a large closet and another wall of windows. At the end of the hall and past the full second bathroom, you arrive at the king-sized master bedroom suite, complete with a spacious 4-piece ensuite bath, walk-in closet (plus another large closet!) and those incredible wall of windows with spectacular open northern views. Gleaming hardwood floors, in-wall HVAC units, two additional hall closets, a coveted half bathroom and the ultimate convenience- a washer/dryer, are the other highlights of this special home. The Mondrian is a conveniently located and pet friendly condominium with 24 hour concierge, a doorman, resident manager, storage and laundry facilities. Plus, there is access to an Equinox gym right through the lobby, and a SoulCycle next door! It just doesn't get any better than this! (There is a small $56.93 monthly assessment through early 2020.)

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
