Property Description for 250 East 54th Street, 35-A

INVESTORS WELCOME! TENANT IN PLACE UNTIL MARCH 2018. This sunny and spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment has breathtaking views of the city from every room. Floor to ceiling windows flood this home with incredible light throughout the day and provide views of the Chrysler building, 432 Park, and One World Trade Center. The large living room has ample space for dining and entertaining and separates the two bedrooms, giving each their own private retreat from the common space. The windowed kitchen has black granite counter tops, classic white cabinets and a small breakfast bar. The master suite has a huge walk-in closet and a marble bathroom with a stall shower and a glass enclosed bath with another shower. The second large bedroom has north and west exposures and is located near the second full bathroom. Dark stained hardwood floor throughout provide an elegant contrast to the sun-soaked high-floor home and it comes with a washer and dryer. A tenant is in place until March 2018 and the lease will transfer with the purchase of the condo so it does not need to be marketed! Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.

The exterior windows of this massive brick and limestone structure play in staccato, giving off an aesthetic reminiscent of a typewriter, with its steady rhythms and robust countenance. Completed in 1907, this Renaissance Reviva...
