Property Description for 250 East 54th Street, 25-A

With magnificent city and river views and custom design with 9' foot floor-to-ceiling windows; apartment 25A presents an incredible opportunity to acquire a turnkey triple mint residence in one of the most coveted luxury condominiums in Sutton Place.

Within the home, there are numerous made-to-order additions and top-of-the-line appliances, all while retaining a warm and welcoming aesthetic. There is custom wool wall-to-wall carpeting by Nourison throughout the living room, hallways, and both bedrooms.

The tastefully designed living room will impress with excellent proportions and a breath taking custom wall unit designed with the use of laser technology to cut the leather material around the surrounding columns. The great room also sports recessed soffits and an ultra-high-end Lutron LED light system.

The bright master bedroom is stunning with significant attention to detail on views, as well as substantial walk-in closet space. In the master bedroom's ceiling you will find a motorized folding TV that disappears with the click of a button.

The residence boasts two newly renovated bathrooms. The master bathroom has imported marble, custom fixtures, a double Krion sink, a Wenge vanity, a walk-in shower, and radiant heated floors.

Throughout the home there are Lurton Motorized shades and drapes. The Sonos Smart Home and Audio System is integrated with the lighting controls and can be synced to your smart phone for remote operation. There is also a Multi-Zone Central Heating/Cooling System as well as a W/D in the unit.

In the renovated windowed kitchen, new cabinetry and appliances can be found throughout . There is also a wonderful Western facing breakfast bar that allows dining for two.

With only six apartments per floor, The Mondrian Condominium, offers a boutique high-rise feel for the discerning buyer or investor. The sprawling, split-bedroom layout is perfect for any living situation and offers maximum privacy.

The Mondrian is a white-glove condominium which offers 24 hour premium services including an on-site building manager as well as full-time concierge, doorman and maintenance coverage.

An Equinox fitness club is located in the building and residents have access through the main lobby. The building also has a wrap-around sun terrace on the 5th floor and laundry services in the basement although most units have washer-dryers.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
