Property Description for 200 East 57th Street, 4-N

Monthly carrying costs under $2 a foot with utilities INCLUDED!!

The perfect package! This 2 bed, 2 bath home with a convertible third bedroom offers 1,500 square feet of flexible living space. A sense of privacy is immediate established upon entering the gracious foyer, as this floor in the building is setback from the street, allowing for a very serene and quiet feel.

The two main bedrooms are massive, spanning 18-feet long and are located on separate sides of the apartment. The master bedroom has two huge walk in closets and an en-suite bathroom with marble floors/walls and a glass-encased shower/tub. If you needed to make a third bedroom then you can easily shift the dining table into the living room without affecting the flow. The third bedroom would then have its own window, air conditioning zone and space for a closet. Please see additional floorplan.

The kitchen includes Omega custom cabinetry in a hazelnut glaze, black chocolate granite, Travertine tiled backsplash, Sub-Zero refrigerator, GE range and a double drawer dishwasher.

The home comes complete with marble floors, a laundry/storage room with an updated washer/dryer, multiple walk-in closets, central air conditioning, electric shades and a second full bathroom.

This 195 unit cooperative building has a 24-hour doorman/concierge and a live in super. The building also features a landscaped garden and recently renovated hallways, a new gym and an updated rooftop space that is fully furnished and landscaped. Since the building has such healthy financials, all of these improvements were paid for through the buildings reserve fund. There is even a garage that can be accessed directly through the building. Enjoy the ability to walk just a few stops from the buildings entrance to a 24 hour Duane Reade that is located in the retail space of the 200 East 57thStreet. In addition to that, a few buildings over on the same side of the street is Whole Foods! Bloomingdales, Central Park, top restaurants, spas, high-end hotels, movie theaters, and so much more are also nearby.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
