Property Description for 351 East 51st Street, L-5E

Splendor awaits you in this palatial loft (approximately 3147 square feet), tucked away within the elegant and exclusive award-winning Beekman Regent Condominium. Currently configured as a 3BR/4.5 bath with a jumbo-studio sized master suite, the sponsor will happily convert it to four bedrooms (see alternate floorplan).

Enter through the massive foyer and you'll be awed by soaring ceilings, gallery-like walls, gorgeous detailed moldings and wainscoting, and tremendous oversized windows in every room. To the right of the foyer are two generously sized bedrooms, both with en-suite baths. Across the hallway is an oversized coat closet and brand new washer/dryer hidden away in the adjacent closet. The beautiful chef's kitchen features brand-new granite countertops; top-of-the-line stainless steel appliances (including a Sub-Zero refrigerator and dishwasher); and plenty of storage space. And just beyond the kitchen lies the aforementioned great room: a jaw-dropping living/dining combination that will impress even the most discerning of guests.

Continue straight ahead is the master bedroom suite with two full baths (here's where the owner will convert if requested). The larger of the two master baths features a double-sink vanity, jacuzzi soaking tub, and stall shower. There are also four beautifully outfitted, gigantic closets, two of which are walk-ins. Other goodies include central A/C, hardwood floors, and enormous windows throughout.

The award-winning Beekman Regent offers every luxury you could want; you'll feel like you're in a five-star hotel with pre-war splendor. Amenities include a 24-hour doorman, bespoke concierge services (including dry cleaning, housekeeping, and tailoring), parking garage with valet (for an additional cost, though you are guaranteed a space if you want one), library, lounge, health club, and conference room. Pets are permitted. The glamorous lobby has a Baccarat chandelier. This is a sponsor unit; there's no board package or approval required. Long-term leases are both permitted and preferred! Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
