Property Description for 250 East 54th Street, 35-D

Introducing the best deal in Sutton Place - a sweeping 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom residence with panoramic views to the East, West, and South from the floor-to-ceiling-windows.

The apartment's layout creates the ultimate space for entertaining and luxury living. The expansive combined living-dining area sits adjacent to the top-of-the-line media room (formerly an oversized bedroom suite) offering a perfect space for hosting guests. And the newly-renovated kitchen is outfitted with professional-grade Viking appliances and high-end fixtures, with space for a breakfast alcove overlooking East River views . Under current ownership, all new hardwood flooring, cove lighting, and crown molding finishes have been added throughout. Each room in the residence features electric blinds, a BOSE surround-sound system, and a digital HVAC system (accessible via mobile phone). The new media room still includes concealed closets and an en-suite bathroom, allowing for easy conversion back into a third bathroom, if desired.

Apartment 35D is the epitome of luxury living; from the Miele appliances, to the large walk-in closet off the master bedroom, to the separate tub and shower in the master bath. Building amenities include a full-time doorman, bicycle storage, basement laundry room, package room, pet-friendly residences, and live-in super. Residents also have direct access into the Equinox fitness club in the building, and 24-hour access to the full-time concierge.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
