Property Description for 250 East 53rd Street, 1401

Welcome home to your future spacious, corner two bedroom residence at The Veneto. Upon entering the apartment, you will be greeted by a gracious entry foyer which flows seamlessly into an oversized dining and living room. 9 foot floor-to-ceiling windows and exposures to the South, North, and West allow for exceptional city views and natural light throughout the day.

Just off the living area is a beautifully renovated chef's kitchen. A Viking range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, wine fridge, Miele dishwasher, custom cabinetry, granite countertops and marble flooring make this kitchen extremely desirable for anyone who likes to cook or entertain.

As you walk back through the foyer, you will be greeted by the corner master bedroom and second bedroom. Both of which feature iconic city views and ensuite bathrooms. The master bedroom enjoys city views and plenty of closet space, including a large walk-in closet and two additional hall closets. You will be thrilled at the generously sized master bathroom equipped with marble floors, a Kohler soaking tub and shower stall, with windows looking out at the city skyline. The well appointed second bedroom has exposures to the west as well as an ensuite bathroom with a Kohler soaking tub, marble floors and countertops.

Other modern conveniences included in-unit Miele washer/dryer, beautiful mahogany wood floors throughout, custom cabinetry and individually controlled heating and cooling HVAC systems.

The Veneto is a full service luxury building in the heart of Midtown East that was built in 2007 by Related Companies. There is no shortage of amenities as there is a 24-hour doorman and concierge, beautifully appointed fitness center with views of the city, an entertainment lounge with a full kitchen, full time resident manager, garden terrace, gas grill, children's playroom, additional private storage and an on-site parking garage. Pets are welcome.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
