Property Description for 303 East 43rd Street, 14-A

This corner apartment on the 14th floor of the International Plaza offers wonderful views of the city and the river; the floor-to-ceiling windows also maximize the home’s natural light.

The open living space flows as if it were made for entertaining, and you’ll love to prepare meals for guests in the spacious, well-appointed kitchen. There’s plenty of storage in the impeccably crafted wood cabinets, and workspace galore on the black granite countertops. The premium stainless steel appliances are both a pleasure to look at and to use, and the tilework is extraordinary.

The oversized master bedroom faces south for beautiful light, and its ensuite bath features a generous glass and tile standalone shower stall. The master suite is separated by a hallway from the second bedroom – this one has city views to the north and east, so think morning sunshine.

From the moment you step into the elegant foyer, it’s clear you’re in a well-designed, well-maintained home. This elegant, airy residence offers hardwood floors and high ceilings throughout its 1,270 square feet, as well as the convenience of central HVAC. Quality is apparent in every detail, large and small, from the gorgeous wood of the entry closet door to the expansive master vanity to the abundant outlets in the kitchen and throughout. This space was designed for living well.

As a luxury condominium building, the International Plaza offers the amenities and services you’d expect. Doorman service is available 24/7, and there’s a live-in resident manager. There are laundry and storage facilities in the building.

Perched at the corner of 43rd and Second, on the edge of Tudor City in Midtown East, this home is a block from the United Nations, making it an especially good choice for diplomats. However, this location is perfect for anyone, with its easy walk to Grand Central Station or the Chrysler Building. All the other perks of midtown Manhattan – shopping, dining, entertainment, and convenient transportation options – are at your doorstep as well. Even a CitiBike station sits right outside. Airport access is a snap from this location.

Viewing appointments require 24 hours' notice, so don't hesitate.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
