Property Description for 845 United Nations Plaza, 43-B

Dramatic East River and city skyline views stun from every room of this fantastic 2,835 sq ft three bedroom, three and a half bathroom apartment on the 43rd floor of 845 United Nations Plaza. Asking over 1MM less than the last B line trade in 2019, this is the prime opportunity to bring your architect to create your perfect apartment. 10ft ceilings and an abundance of sunlight streaming from open Eastern and Southern exposures make this apartment feel airy and bright on the cloudiest of days. The floorplan is made for entertaining; a gracious entry gallery leads to the corner living room with mesmerizing views of the East River, United Nations Gardens, and southern cityscape. The dining room also benefits from the jaw dropping views and flows easily to the living room. A spacious eat-in-kitchen is adjacent to the dining room. There are three large bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms face the East River and the more secluded third bedroom faces south toward downtown Manhattan. There is an additional powder room for guests as well as a washer and dryer in the apartment. 845 United Nations Plaza is an impeccably run white glove full-service condominium. Residents enjoy an endless amount of amenities; there is a massive 5,000 square foot fitness center, pool, private spa, wine cellar, playroom, dog run, landscaped courtyard, and valet parking. Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
