Property Description for 145 East 48th Street, 27-G

We are so excited to list 27G at The Cosmopolitan Condominium.Enjoy some piece and relaxation in your own private balcony. A home where you don't mind working from. There is so much to be said about having your own private outdoor space, now more than ever. Not to mention this balcony is not small by any means. Schedule an appointment and come check this out for yourself. Welcome home to this meticulously renovated one bedroom in the heart of Midtown Manhattan. High above on the 27th floor of the well regarded and longstanding Cosmopolitan Condominium, 27G is a cut above the rest. As soon as you open the door you are welcomed by a gracious foyer, kitchen and living space. One of the best aspects of this home is that there is no wasted space whatsoever. No weird corners where it's just useless. This floor plan along with every room doesn't just feel expansive, it is. When you enter, you immediately want to run through to the living room, featuring high ceilings and hard wood floors that are mint and literally look right outside onto your balcony to see the northern city views which are nice during the day but so much more beautiful and serene at night. The kitchen is a cookers dream. If you enjoy having guests over and catering to your loved ones this kitchen is perfect. Renovated with beautifully textured white marble countertops with matching glass tile mosaic backsplash. There is no question this is the kitchen you will want to cook in. No more ordering out. Have some fun with all this space. The cabinetry is custom white lacquer with self-closing doors and drawers. There is a dishwasher along with an oversized sink and custom faucet. The stove is of restaurant grade and there is a ton of custom lighting throughout along with a stainless steel refrigerator. The living room is very large for a one bedroom home. Again, there is no wasted space here so this feels even larger than what it is. There is more than enough room for a full kitchen table and large living room set with room to spare. One can even add a computer desk for all that work easily. The bedroom is again, huge. Built for a king sized bedroom set with room to spare. Turn this room to whatever you like. With close to 200 square feet in this room there is a ton you can do. Custom lighting throughout and pristine hardwood floors with custom doors and shades. The closet space in this home is also very adequate. The bathroom has been fully renovated as well. No more dirty shower curtains. This bathroom comes with custom tile, lighting, sink w/ pullout drawers, no more reaching into and hurting your back with the doors, and mirrored vanity. The Cosmopolitan Condominium is a Full-Service, Doorman Building that has 207 apartments and was built in 1986 which features a 24 Hour Concierge, an underground 24 Hour Garage with elevator that leads directly onto each floor, Live-In Super, Roof Deck and some of the city's most notable restaurants. This location is by far the best in the city. You are close to The United Nations, Rockefeller Plaza, Central Park and Grand Central Station. Located right off of Lexington Avenue this is basically the center of the city. The staff is always courteous and inviting. If this is a place you think you can call home please reach out for a private tour. Can't wait to show you.

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
