Property Description for 301 East 48th Street, 12-F

This HUGE convertible two bedroom is waiting for your personal touch.

Upon entering 12F, one can’t help but be in awe at just how large it is. The entry foyer offers so many options — it could easily accommodate your home office, a built-in bar or a upright piano! Imagine your friends singing along while the pianist plays the crowd favorites... Continuing forward, the elegant sunken living room is a throwback to the elegance and class of yesteryear. Beyond classy. From there, step up into your separate dining area — or maybe your second bedroom? The choice is YOURS.

The second way this apartment astounds, beyond its size, is the number of closets it has. No kidding... you’ll have difficulty filling them!

The glory days of the kitchen and bathroom are behind them, but with simple swaps, you can have exactly what YOU WANT!

And finally, the bedroom is consistent with the rest of the apartment. Great closets, hardwood floors, nice light, large, properly proportioned and well laid out. King beds welcome!

Looking westerly over Second Avenue, you’ll be pleasantly surprised at just how quiet the apartment is. Peaceful, SERENE even!

Make an appointment to see 12F today and take the first step toward making your dream home a reality!

Turtle Bay | Manhattan

Quick Profile

Turtle Bay is best known for hosting the world’s dignitaries at United Nations once a year as the world institution sits on the eastern edge of the neighborhood along the East River.

But this midtown location offers a lot more, a bustling neighborhood teeming with high-rise apartment buildings and an easy walk to the Midtown business district.

Over the past two decades, developers have assembled almost every corner development site along Second Avenue and have built straight up. Not much left to assemble.

Some of the more glamorous, and of course most expensive, addresses are in close proximity to the United Nations. Trump World Tower, which caused a big stir with area residents, in particular, Walter Cronkite, when it was built sits just north of the United Nations Grounds.

In contrast to the proliferation of the residential highrise, Turtle Bay does have some lovely tree-lined streets between the avenues. In particular, Turtle Bay Gardens, which fronts both 48th Street and 49th Street between Third and Second Avenue has always been a haven for the rich and famous.
